This game is very fun ! I loved everything about it 💖🐠
All of the different endings are so unexpected.
At first, it seemed a little bit hard but I achieved to get all the fish KO.
Also love the stardew valley fishing system !

Felt very manly, very masc. I found the minigames rather tough, maybe even too tough. I never managed to beat a fish.
We are very sorry that you were not able to get a pleasant experience from playing our game. Before the release on itch, our testers checked the balance and consistently hit almost all the points, so we could not even imagine that players would have difficulties 😥

Really fun and solid concept, but catching fish is kinda hard (the Stardew Valley system)
It's a great game and well executed. It has good graphics and I loved the music, all of the tracks were amazing. The gameplay loop is solid and can be easily expanded upon. It's also really polished, so you had time to make it really cool looking and even more enjoyable.
It was a bit too hard in the beginning, there could be some easy start, so then you get into the actual difficulty, because later it was too easy. But it's for sure hard to well-balance game in game jam. Also, not sure what I could do with the things I bought in the store it wasn't super clear.
I wish I could do more stuff in-between waiting for the fish so it could pop-up less often, just as some additional flavour. Depends on the direction this game would like to go into. Just an idea, not a complaint.

Thanks for feedback! Also, the things you buy in the store are passive upgrades, but I haven't balanced them very well, so you won't be able to tell the difference when playing with them

Its probably a skill issue but I played it for like 30 minutes and didn't get one fish, I think the targets are just to fast for me, overall though its a lovely game!
You can toggle off fullscreen to make it easier if it's too hard for you. And thanks for feedback!
Clean graphics and nice music ! After 4 fishing session with zero fish catch I gave up xD Too bad the beginning of the game is hard like this :/

Everything is amazing, I find a tiny bit too hard but that could be my skill issue too, but everything looks really good and polished, great work!
The concept was really cool and I like the art and the music, but I found the fishing mechanics a bit hard at first, I'm probably just bad T.T

wow, I love this game. it looks so amazing, it sounds very nice, and I love the beating up fish mechanic after you reeled them in. having a store with mystery items is actually very fun. it made me want to collect enough money just to find out what does all of the items do. from my experience, vodka is the best item because it relaxes the body and makes you more focused.
just one issue but I'm not sure if it is just a me problem. the game is way too hard. the reel to fish the fish is so slow to move down that it becomes hard to estimate when to press and the shiny parts on the fish appears so far away from the previous and disappears so quickly that it just becomes rng if I'm able to beat up the fish in time, I literally lost so many fights to a fish in a fight.
still, the game is extremely fun and the dialog was a delight to read. and the polish was so good, I felt so immerse that I want to reel in and punch a fish in real life with these effects and music.

Thank you for such a constructive review! It was very difficult for me to make a good balance in this game, because during the tests it was too easy for someone, and it was very difficult for other ones, so the balance in this game is cursed :)
it's alright, it is a jam game so you won't get that much people to playtest the game in time. it was unfortunate that one person who playtested said the game was too easy and skewed the feedback. bro might be a god 🔥

I punched the doom fish :'( Oh and also if you buy an item from the shop, the sprite disappears but you can continue to buy that same item - is that a bug or a feature?

Great game and lots to discover! Clicking the targets to KO the fish could be a little easier as getting from one end of the fish to the other is pretty challenging.

Beautiful game! The mini games are fun and challenging! I wish I had more time to read the fish dialogue/instructions - it is a bit tricky to read it since it comes up during gameplay.
If fish talks to you, you don't have to beat it. Moreover, if you let them go or complete their quest, you will get a new ending! Thanks for feedback though!
Ah, I see! I didn't pick up on that because I was having such a hard time 'beating' even one fish - I couldn't chance reading the dialogue! I was also referring to the instructions for the gameplay, which also came up while timers where counting down - a tiny bit stressful! Haha
