thanks but don't call my game polished, it's anything but it. the combat was one of the things I really love too. shotgun for ironically sniping and crowbar to do the dirty work. maybe having the swing have a longer fore swing would balance it because I wanted the crowbar to have some risk to it. it ended up being too safe

sorry for using english but this game was so amazing. the story was great, the art li suwi a, and the music was god-tier. "ilo li pali" gave me goosebumps while solving the hardest puzzles, o pali pona, jan Ante o . this really felt like a masterpiece. though the game lacks a lot of polish I'd expect from a puzzle game making the it feel unfair at times but that's kinda asking for too much from a game made in 5 days.
musi pona a! kin la sitelen li suwi mute. jan ike mute li jo e utali ante mute. mi la ona li pona mute. utala kepeken sike mute pi poki telo kepeken tenpo lili la, ona li musi a XD.

thanks for playing my game and I really appreciate you enjoyed it this much. I'm very proud of the puddle mechanic myself, it just came to me in a fly and I thought it'd be a great idea.
but don't give me credit on the sound design I made it with duct tape and hopes and dreams. just recorded garbage sounds on my phone's microphone the night before the deadline and spent 2 hours debugging the sound code and deciding to just keep it in because I ran out of time.
I really like the art and the sfx were very good. however it seems like you didn't use the limitations unless if the implementation was that you always come back to square one. the gameplay loop wasn't that good, it's the same level over and over again and many things were unclear. and the movement felt slippery and unresponsive. the controls as a whole felt very slow. but I still enjoyed the game at the end
didn't realize this but originally his punch cards were meant to be visible to reveal where he's hiding. unfortunately when I change the building sprite it completely hid the punch cards and I didn't notice till the next day. so only player who went full rambo or had some suspicion would find town in the last area
thanks for playing my game. I botched the sounds so the music is extremely soft so the reason might be that the base volume is too low for your speakers. sorry I did it last minute. and I halfly agree on the snowmen, it should offer better protection like a bigger protection box. but the duration should be low to keep the player on their feet and only give enough time to reload
