The most unexpected plot twist of the century !
Haha whith the starting text scroll and overall serious tone i did not see that coming and it is an absolute genius take on the theme, and i felt really dumb once i realised the ship’s design on the main menu foreshadows it XD
Also some really good camera work for the intro cinematic :o
So i’m not gonna take this into acount when rating cause it’s not your fault,
but i’ve had a bit of a weird experience with the game : i’ve got an old rig so i had to run the game with the opengl3 command thing, no big deal i thought at worse i wasn’t gonna have some of the fancy effects render properly, but this had the most unexpected and wierd side effect ever…
i had the space background fully inverted O_o space was white and stars were black, this made it difficult to see my shots. So just in case other people have to run it in legacy render, apparently this happens XD
Other than that wild shenanigan, the game is good and plays well, lots of enemy variety, just needs a bit more powerups cause the default shot doesn’t do much once there are a lot more foes to clear.
Overall Cool game :)
