Are you using any third party assets?
Kenney - Various Fonts/UI Sounds/Art (modified)
Moxica - Colorful abstract enemy sprites
cafeDraw - Spell card

Are you using any AI generated assets?
Music, and some art, were generated or inspired with the help of AI tools, intended to be placeholders. The majority of the game was made in a day as a learning project, so corners were cut.

I eventually completed the game (well, 1 loop), scored 196300 points, but I have to say it was heartbreaking to let all these balls go away to preserve my health, it's a very dark game.

The game looks cool and it plays very well, the difficulty was perfect for my taste.

I think there could be a sound feedback when you die, and I think the tunes don't loop that well.

Very cool game!

Loved the blend of breakout and bullet hell, very unique, very cool, very wow, very rated.

Very fun game, and a really cool and original idea, to mix the genres :) Art also looks cool.

Fun mix of both genres.

Gameplay wise this reminded me of an old breakout game i played back in the day called Alpha Ball that had some small shooter elements to it but not quite to the level you’ve merged both here.

DIfficulty wise it seems ok but the fact that you don’t reset players to full health between levels can prove a bit too hard i think.

Other than that neat little entry you made there, good job :)

Genre hybrids are always fun. Great job. A couple comments:

  • The balls and the projectiles look too similar. When things get busy it’s difficult to track the balls you are supposed to hit apart from the projectiles you are supposed to avoid.
  • Make the paddle follow the mouse with some fixed speed quickly moving the mouse causes some weird effects.
  • There are plenty of free assets created by talented artists you can use as placeholders instead of AI.

Interesting combination of genres.

Very creative way to combine Bullet Hell with breakout games. It took me a while to realize you can use the mouse to control. Good job, but I'm not really fan of AI generated stuff.

Firstly, the concept of the Manas was confusing. It didn't fill up fully and was changing randomly through the levels.

Secondly, I like the soundtrack but the lack of sound effects was jarring.

I liked the controls though.
