Loved it! I like the graphics and the simple puzzles fused with a bullet hell. I couldn't get past level 8 but that's a skill issue :D

Maybe i'm just not a good gamer, but for me it was really hard :) Original idea for a bullethell game, and the visuals are very clean. Very enjoyable to play and there is definitely potential.

I really like the visuals and polish on this game! The concept is also very cool! I did see it mention that the statues shot to a rhythm but it was kind of hard to tell. Maybe that's just my lack of musical talent talking though LOL! Either way, it's a really beautiful game! Great work :D

I really liked the visuals in this one, the pixelated transition screens, how seamless everything feels - this game seems very polished.
It's very hard to evade in tighter sections, but the fact that patterns have rhyme and reason makes it seem not unfair.
The only issue have is more of a broad design one - due to the nature of the game, my first instinct is to immediately run and try to brute force the level, without even taking note of the level layout. And most of the time this works, maybe after a try or two (or a dozen). I would've preferred if I was able to explore the level freely at first and make a plan, and then as soon as I touch a single instrument - get bombarded with projectiles and put my plan into action.
But still, this game feels very polished, looks great, and was very fun to beat.

Feedback like this are very inspiring to us! You are completely right: even if we managed to arouse the main emotions we focused on, we tried to have the fastest way to start and repeat a level, without thinking about giving players the agency to analyze a level and, only then, let them try what they had in mind. If we will expand this game we will 100% lean towards the designer choice you proposed. Thanks for your words!

God i love puzzle games!!! Finished with 43 deaths but had a blast! Realizing how stupid you are and then restarting is real. Amazing game!

Developer

Thanks for playing the whole game and for your words ^^

Very imaginative idea puzzle/bullet hell, a cosy game with fun gameplay, addictive even, someone already mentioned listening to the song didn't help much with avoiding the bullet but still its a neat idea, good job for the effort :)

Developer(+1)

Thanks for your words ^^ Yeah, if we end up expanding this concept we'll increase the connection between the rhythm bullet spawners with the player mechanics to increase its feeling. Thanks for the feedback!

Very unique concept and execution, all though it was definitely a lot harder than the other submissions I've played so far haha. Hope you expand more on this because I see a lot of potential

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing the game ^^ We completely agree with you, if people like this concept, for sure we'll tune the difficulty more accordingly than how it is now. Thanks for your kind words!

I really like what you did with the theme!

Also loved the vibe and the combination of puzzle and bullet hell.

Very unique game, I enjoyed it quite a lot, and even did the two extra levels because I wanted more.

Great job!

Developer

Wow, we actually ended up having a difficulty above the one had in mind but you managed anyway to complete every level, really great! Thanks for your words!

Pretty cute little game! The way the bullets all sync to the music and the music itself being so cozy gives it a very chill puzzle-y vibe despite the intensity of the bullets. Maybe a bit more leniency on the hitboxes would've been cool but overall it's a very solid put-together package.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback! We will try smaller collisions during the next tests ^^

The concept is interesting, a simple puzzler but with shitloads of bullets. It shows that bullet hells are not only shmups and I like that. Overall it's fun. I must say though, the enemies shooting in rythm with the music doesn't bring a lot to the game, listening to the music doesn't help at all with predicting how they shoot, it's a neat idea, but not necessary as it is.

Developer

Thanks for your words! Yeah you are right, the rhythm shooting don't help avoiding the actual bullets that arrive to you delayed in time. We did it mainly to let players switch between inactive/active/unstable instrument states and find their way to complete puzzles with different timing and patterns on screen but it didn't completely bring to life. Thanks again for the feedback ^^

I'm getting an error when I try and run the game. Something about a shader failing to compile? Letting you know; although judging by comments, its probably an issue with my computer and not the game.

Developer

Damn, we'll investigate on this problem and find a temporary solution. Thanks to let us know it.

Developer

Can I ask you, when and if you have time, to send a screenshot of it? In order to grasp exactly what happened. Thanks for the time.

Well I took a screenshot but I think it copied the crash log to my clipboard, so heres both:

...you might have helped me diagnose a problem with my computer I haven't been able to figure out through your game's crash log.

thanks lol!

Developer

Thanks a lot for your time and efforts! We uploaded this version NoAVX2Shader which should prevent the AVX2 shader decompression. When ,and if, you will have the time, check it out and let us know if this may help with that issue. Thanks for your time.

Still crashed :(

I'm pretty confidant its a computer issue; I've been having errors with a few games lately and it looks like its my hardware that's busted, so I doubt you can patch it out. Thanks for trying, though!

Great idea to combine a puzzle game with the Bullet Hell elements, really makes each level tense! The music was really nice, I didn't feel the rhythm elements really melded well but it was a cool addition nonetheless. I got to level 12 before calling it. Nice job!

Developer

Thanks! Yeah, the rhythm part were the statues that spawn bullets based on their instrument Dbs, so it's hard to feel like the game is attacking you on top of the music. We'll try to increase its feedback in case we'll continue this project. Thanks for the feedback!

Submitted

Very cool concept that combines Bullet Hell and a puzzle game. This reminds me of "WORLD'S HARDEST GAME".

Developer

Wow, what a big compliment ^^ Thanks Azyr!

Very unique, somehow incredible stressful and incredibly calming at the same time. Very tough but never felt unfair really well balanced. Great visuals, audio and gameplay all around. Well done to all involved in making it

Developer (1 edit)

Thanks a lot! We tried to build the game on top of a 'Calm & Storm' mood, using an harmonic and calm base track and distorting it over time. The fact you felt that is an incredible compliment for us. Thanks for all your kind words!

Submitted

I beat all the levels including the 2 extra ones, had 112 deaths at the end and I think 28 before the extras.

Is the trolling instrument on the top western corner of the top extra level intentional? Be careful I love it so there's only one right answer to this question (and anyway it might be given you've got only 30 seconds).

I had a lot of fun playing the game. The concept works pretty well, unlocking the different instruments as you go through a level has always been the coolest thing at least since Juming Jack'Son and that it unlocks new bullets makes it even more fun here. It is visually clear, plays smooth, controls perfectly and one reason why I enjoyed it so much is that the difficulty was exactly as I wanted to be at the moment.

Very cool!

Developer

Wow, your will is really admirable! Thanks for playing through ALL the levels and yeah, the extra ones are just there as a different kind of challenges, reverting a bit what the game teaches to you. Thanks for the feedback, we are glad you liked it so much ^^
