  • This was, by far, the standout of the Game Jam for me. It is a linear, narrative driven game with interesting puzzles, intricate and complex combat, and simple yet emotional story. I love this game to bits and would encourage everyone to play through it.
  • Another absolute banger by Ellis, this time without much of an issue of difficulty! I don't want to spoil anything but I really enjoyed the story being told, so much so that I was only able to guess some of it before the ending, and even then I was pleasantly surprised. The gameplay in this one was a neat twist as well, with a game mechanic that is not easy to make work as well as it does here - I'm very impressed. One of my favorites of this jam, for sure.
  • While this game is made mostly from the base assets of rpg maker, the story and thought put into it are great. I had to step away from the game and when I returned, I was surpised by the message that started when you load the game. Realized after looking at the credits that it was poem mentioned. Overall I really liked this game, thank you again for submitting another game to this years jam! Pregnancy wise, a bit more out of the normal with the character absorbing the various elementals and growing larger. Gameplay is mostly centered on cute story as well as the combat was more engaging the more spirits you collected. (Trusted Iron to carry me though a lot.) Where this game shines the most is in creativity, the story is told very well, the elemental theme was neat, and goes to show that even with base assets you can make a great game! Finally the jam theme is focused around hyperpregnancy and pushing the limit by gathering the spirits. Wish there was a bit more interaction here but still was fun.

I apologize deeply for my rating not going in!!!

2,3,4,2 was my scoring. It was a creative game with well done maps! Nothing seemed to really push the limits here but with some more callbacks to the pregnancy via either NPCs mentioning it more or mini-scenes upon waking up for the next day referencing the MC’s size or the likes- That would have helped the pregnancy score get higher.

This is a super cozy story. I also like that it switches up it's various mechanics at certain points to keep things being different. I would have like to be told when things were entering free roam instead of just getting stuck throwing myself against the phosphor spirit for half an hour, as well as being told what Job Points were (sure, they made sense when I found learn skill, but I didn't know to look for it until I was well past stuck). You do a bunch of good things to mitigate this, but players don't tend to go looking for them if they think they have a path forward.

It would also be nice to have pregnancy be a little more prominent, like, it's visually there and the spirits go in the belly, but it's more just an occasional story mention than having any real effect on what's happening (even considering the ending).

But this was just a really well done, creative and as I said, cozy experience.

This game has been great. I do wish there were some 3D sprites or nice artwork as our MC expands... but that really is my only complaint.

The game is super cute, and the dialogue is well written and often funny. The combat was surprisingly engaging for an RPGMaker affair and I was happy with how things ended. I haven't played everything so I don't know if this will be my favourite at the end though I do think it might be the best I've played so far.

This was really good! I love the idea of collecting spirits in the belly and summoning them for battles! I really hope this gets a part 2 or a spinoff or really just anything that means more of this!

This was a delight, and I hope there's more to come! This deserves a part 2, or more added to it!

This was a very lovely game. The skills, puzzles, dialogue, and the MC herself all hit in such a refreshingly touching way that I played through practically twice just to make sure I played it a bit better—the first go-around, I did not consult my Second Thoughts nearly enough, and I went headlong over and over again into a fight that I should have waited for, lol. Thank you for the opportunity to play through this simple yet heartwarming story!

EDIT: I forgot to mention how much I love your choice of BGM in this game, especially the one the player will hear the most. The usual BGM is so soothing, I just cannot explain how much it accentuates the experience. It's just really, really nice.
