Sorry dor late teply. But cassidy is a soecual case and there is something to discover across her c5 that will unlock that final option

The largest thing that goes wrong, and option I should remove because it's causing more problems than it is making the game better, is that the clue about watching a movie with her and she runs off... if you follow her... it undoes getting that clue. besides that, if you look at the scene guide during the climax of the events at the bbq, it will give you a nice map of the options available and the results of paths you have selected.

Building all this has been years of work so it's understandable it's got a few kinks in it. I think the dots system wasn't even implemented until way after that corruption point. But it's also been a labor of love. I'll add it too the bug list.

And I guarantee there are far more nooks and crannies for you to find. Not even I know all of them anymore.

Little too scary for me!

Honestly though, this is just plain fun. A few holes here and there but I'm pretty sure you know where and what.

Yeah, I absolutely got the dissonance thing, and it definitely needs to be there, I think the largest part is the change from soft text boxes of the real world to explicit "you are playing a visual novel" text boxes. I think adding a little bit more of an explicit text box to the real world would be how I'd solve it. It's at a point where people are still establishing their expectations so it shouldn't really get in the way of your excellent styling to start with and it should mellow the difference between cinematic and game.

The art is great and presentation fantastic and while I found the story intriguing... it eventually started to move towards impenetrable. Clearly the character was stone walling me, which is part of the plot, but a bit more direction rather than just select every option until progression happens. There is a lot great happening here and it feels like the game doesn't want me to experience it.

That sounds like a larger problem than it actually is, but it's still there.

Absolutely gorgeous work you've put together. The use of layers and movements and perspectives really make it feel very lively. And credit to the voice actors too!

I do feel the transition from the real to the theater like section is a little harsh in styles, going from a very cinematic display to a gamey display gave me some dissonance in a bad way, and I would have liked to see these mesh a little better in theme (though obviously they should maintain their different styles). Not really sure there is much more constructive I suggest for it!

The art style is an obvious standout, and it only adds to it how each of the characters have movement too them from both use of different sprites as well as the little bounces you gave them.

The character designs were good and drew me into the game as well.

The music was nice and fitting, but quickly got old and it could have used some more variety

The plot was fun but a bit hard to follow and it might have been good to be a little more linear at the start so the player is hand held through the basic premise and character introductions.

You've done some great work in this an it's nice to have the agency of exploration sections to break up the gameplay. The art is similarly fantastic.

I feel the game is a little overwritten at times, it can be a bit weird to say you're using too many adjectives... but each time you use them it slows down the players reading speed and makes it take more effort to parse each sentence.

I also thought that the light area in the exploration setting was a bit small, crossing over from thematic and into making the game hard to play.

Those are kind of nitpicky small bones though, you've done great work.

I enjoyed my time with this. The character designs were cute and it made me want to keep going through all the various routes.

I do feel like you could have made better use of the screen space  as the sprites being so small leave a lot of unused area. Similarly interactions between characters felt a little flat and it would have been nice to see the characters at an angle that wasn't all completely face on to the screen.

I consider this a canon C0 Alex story... We don't see much of their lives outside of the cabin, but they do all have their own stories. We really just see them at their best.

Not only is this puzzle not required for progression, if you press think harder several times, it will give you the option to auto solve it just in case you aren't interested in puzzles.

I am sorry for the frustration I have caused.

I thought that was resolved, but it's a false positive due to my choosing to zip archive the contents of the game during compile. This means one of the files inside a zip archive ends in something like *.bmix or something that is causing the issue.

I just discovered a bug in this where the scene is improperly happening during the night time slot.

So, as with all Lisa puzzles, there are several layers and dead ends too it.

The first thing to do will be to find some kind of direction from the note, knowing Lisa this will put you on her expected (and wrong) path that will let her gloat a little bit. But if you're finding these gloats, that does mean you have found correct information from the note.

The next thing to notice is that there is some extra information that doesn't really make sense, so the goal is to find a way to make it make sense. You have 8 (if I remember correct) movements, and there are 8 greek names. But if the movements are already 'correct' from the first information, these must be on top of that, to let you re-interpret that information in another way. Given each step only has options for left, right and forward, it will have to be something to do with lefts, rights and forwards.

One of the keys to any Lisa riddle is that she (the character) is trying to make it unsolvable for the constraints of you (the character). As a player, you are not bound by these constraints, which is something she cannot plan for. So while an initial reading will lead to a dead end, she will also try to leave ways for her to gloat once you've set down that dead end path. At the end of the day, it may just require some out of the box thinking.

I'll look into it.

I can't remember having problems with it but that's different from their not being problems with it...

All saved games should function between versions.

That is the very first piece of fan art I received. It is an interpretation of Alex with blue hair.

You aren't actually investigating the forest for Haily C4, I believe it takes place at the time the hot tub scene happens in the living room?

I'll look into this, thank you

To beat Lisa at poker, you can get the king of hearts by exploring the kitchen (using the explore button on the map) before you face her.

As the game jam winds down and such I'm going to revisit this, fix a few bugs, expand out one or two cards. I wasn't sure I was but it's people like you who make me want to continue these

If you're struggling, at the start of the second month when you can pick your sponsor, don't be afraid to pick the cheap sponsor. It's quite good but it's not instant win, so it can get you through the game with more room to spare.

Also, the more you use cards tagged upgradable, the  sooner they will upgrade, this will really help you out with your action economy, which is the real resource limit. Hope that helps!

Lina sneaks some panties under your pillow when you arrive.

You can hide them by going to your room.

Not yet, though it isn't far off.

It was a little silly of me to include a question like that, but the discord is public access if you'd like to post puns or pictures of big boobies. I just started posting it on there for fun. A bit of pizzazz over just randomly putting out a scene on occasion.

Yay I fixeded it!

Grumble, back to fixing things...

You bet it does!

A couple of people do, we checked it out rather thoroughly and it is a false positive.  This seems to be a larger issue with windows defender and effects more than just this game.

If, in game, you go to the scene guide, under the extra tab, you will find a button with all the patch notes separated by version.

If you want one in a web page: https://www.patreon.com/posts/public-release-0-138678876

I make sure to take care of myself, I have one day off every week!

I'll get that fixed

It might be less dairy themed and more cream themed.

Ill check

Ill look into it anyway. Just in case.
