Really cool vibes and character design throughout!! You've done a great with he art of capturing the lighting of groggy school mornings, tinged with nostalgia - especially when it comes to the glowing rimlight on the character sprites and the gentle wobble of the background characters. Rex is a cutie too, which helps. The point-and-click elements were fun, and following that section things definitely got uncanny quickly, in a very satisfying way. Absolutely a strong entry, and an intriguing world - congrats to the whole team!

Alright, I've been notified a short while ago that the latest patch completely destroyed the functionality of the "Play" button in the menu.

Needless to say it's now patched!

You've done some great work in this an it's nice to have the agency of exploration sections to break up the gameplay. The art is similarly fantastic.

I feel the game is a little overwritten at times, it can be a bit weird to say you're using too many adjectives... but each time you use them it slows down the players reading speed and makes it take more effort to parse each sentence.

I also thought that the light area in the exploration setting was a bit small, crossing over from thematic and into making the game hard to play.

Those are kind of nitpicky small bones though, you've done great work.

Thanks for checking the game out and giving some honest feedback! It's definitely more appreciated over forced praise.

I love the opening in this. Immediately peaked my interest.
Eery and very stylish great work.

Thanks for checking the game out! I'm glad the intro did its work flawlessly

So, if anyone's reading this...

I updated the game a bit. What was fixed:

- One ending branching was mixed-up

- Many typos were corrected

- Fixed some minor weird bugs

If you haven't checked TheOther You yet then I highly encourage you to do it as the game is now improved! (Although I'll definitely keep on improving it in terms of typos. Something tells me I'm not done with those...)

This was so haunting but fun! Rex gave me such Kyubey (Madoka Magica) vibes I was ready to throw down right away, 10/10 fav character

Developer

I honestly don't know that character, but I'm glad you liked the game and Rex!

Loved the art and how the bg had the characters kind of see-thru. The more I played the more I felt like I was having some kind of fever dream.

I did encounter some kind of bug when I clicked near the window (in the bedroom) when returning to the cabin again and it seemed to crash unity in the web build? I'll definitely give it another go again later with the download version!

Also, cute dog.

Thanks for letting me know! I'll definitely take a look at that bug

I believe that keeping the vibe of a game consistent and aesthetically pleasing to the eye is a key aspect of great developers. This goes above and beyond !!! 10/10
