No female pixel nipples sadly just historical fiction. Do male nipples count? I don't have any of them either but just out of curiosity.

Yeah I didn't really know what Sensitive entailed. It generally looks like extreme horror or nudity?
I guess everything can be sensitive to somebody.

Yeah it might be fixed. Thank you!

NSFW seems to be dominated by more 18+ style content from looking at the page.

Hi there,
My game was indexed which was great! But it was listed only alongside NSFW - erotica games.
It definitely isn't one of those! It's only mildly adult in themes like a PG13.

Any help welcome. Thank you!

Hi there,

Sorry to add yet another one of these. But I've been having a spot of issues r.e. indexing.

Checked everything a few times and it looks good from my end albeit it could be due to updates.

Thank you all for your help I appreciate there must be a whole lot of these to go through.

Out of interest is the process manual?  I would be happy to pitch in to help if there is a backlog, I can understand the scale of games to be processed must be quite overwhelming at this stage of the site's success!

Please do not hesitate to let me know if I can assist in any way.
Kind regards,

PA

I can't believe how many players we've already had I've had some really cool DMs and questions about the story across platforms so I might leave some of the answers here.

This section is a Centurions story but a lot of the rest of it is just real Roman life drama.

For example a few of the other major characters are a slave, a 'dodgy' baker and a greek expat with more planned. I really wanted to just show the flavour of Roman life. I led with the Centurion as I thought it would cater more to what the public are generally used to in regards to these sorts of stories but much of the rest of it is a lot more akin to a period drama!

The art came about fairly naturally, I am much better at drawing than I am at painting so when I moved to a graphic tablet I started sketching and black and white seemed to fit with the dark undertones.

Because its choice based I wanted you to be able to wrestle with these ideas and come to your own conclusions. The scope of this will be much greater as the story progresses. As a writer I don't like placing a morality onto the audience I think its disrespectful to the reader. Moral ambiguity is so tied to both ancient and modern life. You're absolutely correct in the characterisation of decadent and glorious. Its fun to play up to these but also to subvert them and to not see ourselves as above it.

The mystery is loosely tied to existing political events its during the reign of Emperor Domitian who was quite an interesting character - class - politics - wider Roman struggles - the clash of civilisations and the moral impact that comes with that. I have thought about doing specifically real figures historical fiction versions too but their history is set in stone and may conflict with giving players choices.

Thank you!
There's a whole lot more to come with different characters and Roman stories but thank you for playing! I'll try to update this page as much as I can.

Hey thank you for playing!
Some of them are static frame animations where I'm just moving between them or just in built camera motion. The fade to white is just 100 pngs set as a custom image where I added a texture each frame. For the higher fps more fluid animations it is a sort of rotoscoping effect, I have a large collection of Roman things and Roman shapes I use as references. I should make a video about it if people are interested.

Sounds cool!

SALVE! I am a one person studio.
I make weird historical fiction noire hand drawn visual novels about Rome. Probably going to do some medieval stuff in the future.

General Feedback welcome
Cinematic vs Longform?
More interactivity? More writing?
It is all possible. There is more of everything, the exact amount there will be in the final products will be partially dependant on your thoughts!

Salve!
