The art is wonderful!

Very polished and cute!

My favourite entry in this jam so far

Amazing how much you managed to get in here. The way the ending makes it interesting to replay the game is really clever. A slow burn at first, but once the unease sets in it gets really good. I did not expect there to be so much to this as there was, considering it was submitted to the Spooktober jam. Well done. There are a few typos and mixed up name-dialogue combinations here and there.

Thank you so much!

Thank you so much! After the competition ends, I'll update it so you can click anywhere on the textbox instead of just the "next" button. Should improve the experience on mobile. Thanks for the feedback. It helps a lot

Hey, thank you so much for checking out Never Ending Summer. Were you reading on mobile or desktop? The desktop version also supports progression with spacebar or right arrow key, and selecting choices by pressing keyboard numbers. Do you think this was a problem of communication or design? I will take your feedback to further improve Visual Novel World (with which I built this VN).

Very cute!

This jam has been full of amazing entries. Please give my entry Never Ending Summer a shot.

I wanted to not do something obvious with horror or monsters, so I chose to write a story about celebrating Halloween in a post-apocalyptic world

I enjoyed the art style a lot! This game made me very hungry for a rare steak

Hi, I thought the game got stuck for me right after "with your sheets in the dryer and the day ahead of you, there's plenty of things to do."

I was about to report a bug to you, before clicking around a bunch and progressing. It wasn't that clear to me that I was supposed to click the background art. Not a critique. May have been me not paying attention, but it's some honest feedback on my experience.

This one's a diamond. I enjoyed it

The ending to this is so powerful. That was a really clever way to do something like this that I haven't seen before. Hits so hard with Bird's Song playing too.

This is amazing. Every aspect of this complements the other so well. Presentation, animations, music, facial expressions, writing, even the writing on the end screen. Very immersive.

Just a proper chat with a proper bloke by the sea. Could definitely imagine him having enjoyed plenty of cold beverages of some sort. I think the aesthetic chosen here was a clever way to get something really good looking within the time constraints of the competition and you pulled it off well.

Thank you so much, mister flat cheese!
