Played to the end. So many tiny satisfying mechanics

Well done and well said.

Oh yes, I think a star/ranking system tied to the score would be exactly what I was looking for. But really, congrats again on everything you put together.

I like all the updates! I agree with the comments below about the completion screen. I'd also like some kind of feedback about if my score is...good? While not necessarily needing a leaderboard, I'd be nice to have some kind of internal rating from the game itself.

Appreciate you coming by to try out my game. It was helpful feedback and was encouraging to know that some of the mechanics I implemented worked as intended!

Wow, thanks for coming by to play! I truly do appreciate the feedback. And getting an A is quite a high score! I'm also glad that you found the title screen to helpful with learning the mechanic, I was trying to make it as simple as possible while not dumping too much info on the screen. Thanks again!

Thanks, I appreciate it!

No worries, just checking! thanks again!

Oh was there a particular bug you encountered? Thanks for coming by to play the game.  I appreciate the kind words!

Amusing and entertaining till the very end. I retried a few times and was glad I kept coming back. Cute art and nice variety.  VERY TENSE.

Absolutely impressive that you put this together for the jam.  It kept me hooked  enough to play through with all 3 characters. I loved the voice acting and really felt the three classes were fun in their own way. All of you did excellent work!

Congrats on putting together an absolutely beautiful and fantastic game. Your art was lovely and the writing matched the vibe. Can't wait to see more of your work in the future!

Ha, thanks for playing. I was trying to make it as simple but enjoyable as possible.

I was able to complete all 3 levels. This would be even MORE fun if there was timer for speedrunning! Solid entry.

The choices  made with the audio were well timed and evocative. The writing itself also kept me engaged throughout the entire playthrough. And I think though subtle, the visuals themselves also kept things anchored as well. Very interesting entry, nice work!

Fun gameplay mechanic and it's quite a good interpretation of the theme as well! I agree with one of the previous comments that a bar or visual representation for how much your jump is "charged" would be very helpful. Nice work and you did a great job with the graphics!

haha, thank you so much for the feedback! I genuinely laughed about the control comment because I totally agree (even if it's by design) but I literally almost smashed my keyboard on level 3 of YOUR game from blowing up too many times:) But truly I genuinely enjoyed yours and have recommended it to a few people! Thanks again for stopping by to play and comment!

I really liked the whole gameplay loop! But it did seem like the aim of the towers can be pretty bad as they often would completely miss the targets?  But I do love the idea of always having to decide between healing or collecting more scrap. I also think I ran into a bug where when I restarted after failing I still was carrying uranium from the last round but COULDN'T deposit it soooo I had to reload the page. Great work overall though and really polished menus too!

Nice work for your first game!  I think it's great that you did your own art too. And a really nice take on the theme as well! Hope you'll make more games in the future.

You really nailed the theme. I must have retried some of these levels dozens and dozens of times. It looks great and you made amazing use of the sfx, especially with the boulder. It always felt very tense while playing and I loved that.

Ha, yes it does. And "easiest" way to get a true "high-score" is to pretty much exclusively go after the Person of Interest data NONSTOP. Thanks for playing!

Very challenging endless runner that finally let me fulfill the fantasy of being a banana being chased by a giant monkey. The boost felt great and overall I really do wish that you COULD move a little bit faster. Good use of all the assets and your core idea is well executed, nice work!

Came to play to this after watching the stream. I found the platforming to be a bit challenging at first but the style and fun of making things go BOOM was able to win me over in the end. Neat mechanic, great UI, and some very delicious visuals.

The music is a 10. Also I'm a fan of dropping thousands of cars on stables.  Very weird and very amusing.  Congrats to all of you for putting this little piece of art together. Oh, and nice tutorial.

Haha, no I understand. One of the bits I wished I could've squeezed in was a quick restart button because "I" definitely wanted one for every time I also slammed into too much bad data on a run:)

Haha, thanks so much for the generous comments! I think one of the ways I was able to do this in just a few days was because I used a visual  scripting system that I've had plenty of experience with:) I'm very glad you found it weirdly addictive and fun.

(Oh, and your game was great! I don't usually play games without web builds but I was intrigued)

This is actually kind of genius though? I loved this.  Great take on the theme and truly just a neat little concept. Really impressive that you put this together for your first jam game!

Ah, thanks for the feedback! And yeaaaah it can definitely be a bit too slippery but I was really going for a loose feel to add to chaotic nature of it all:)  I appreciate you playing, thanks again.

The intro, the visual/sfx, and how they all worked around the theme was very neat. I do wish I could start out a little faster, but I understand theres upgrades and all. Nice work, definitely impressive to put this together for the jam!

haha, thanks! I tried my best to think of a mechanic that I could implement in a short period of time that would work for the theme! Thanks for playing and I appreciate the kind words.

aw absolutely loved the art! The minigames were fun and had a good bit of variety. I did seem to have trouble with the find the hotspot part after speeding up a few times. Not sure why, but I tried EVERYWHERE on the screen multiple times and couldnt seem to find it:( I enjoyed the game though so great work!

I really struggled at first to think of a good mechanic for the theme! Thanks for your kind words.

Ha, the animation when the bomb blows up for your character is pretty funny. It does feel satisfying to complete each level but I am so impatient that I died by the lasers MANY TIMES:)

Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it and I appreciate you leaving the feedback!

Its a fun twist to have your resources be tied to shooting/building. I know you said you didn't have a lot of time to work on progression, but theres definitely a solid base to build on there! Nice work.

Figuring out how to make the controls last JUST enough to not be too annoying was a fun challenge in itself:) Glad you had a good time and thanks for all the feedback!

Aw, thanks for coming by to comment and I really appreciate all the kind words. I wish I would've had more time to add things and tweak some stuff but I'm rather glad how it turned out!

Sorry, I played a little more! Thanks again for making an enjoyable game!

Tell your brother thanks for the inspiration! Here's my last try on the Dark Sky deck: )

Oh thanks! I am curious if you have your own idea/metrics for what a "good" score is? I want to mess around with it a little more to see how high I can go.
