Glad I was able to play this before the voting period ended! It's absolutely a wild ride and HIGHLY recommended. The voice acting is VERY VERY fantastic and all the art/UI is superb. Also it's funny. And it's HARD to be funny. It felt so interactive and there were so many tiny details in the characters, backgrounds, and even in the writing. 

You all did some amazing magic here!

Delightfully, deliciously unhinged--I couldn't begin to guess what direction things would take from one moment to the next! The artwork is so fun and expressive, the music is campy in all the right ways, the voice acting is sublime, and the entire framework is strikingly original. Fantastic work! 

I love how you own how unhinged this game is! I totally loved it.  My fave ending was the JD romance because I felt it had the most lore although I was sad about Rue.  I felt sorry for JD too.   Watching the stream and interacting with it felt so innovative and the art and VA was top notch.  Also incorporating the spooky stories and the ads from real creators was a neat touch.

Wow, such an interesting concept,  a story within a story, with the characters telling the tales themselves! But the way the story ended was something I wouldn’t have expected in a thousand years.

The art is absolutely gorgeous, and as for the voice acting, all I can say is hats off! Although I would have loved to hear a voice for the narrator as well.

What can I say? A story with an ending like that definitely brings Lordi’s song “Would You Love a Monsterman?” to mind. 🤘

Ruenacle has been a wild trip from beginning to end. It feels like a love letter to indie dark romance visual novels and modern visual novel fandom culture.

While I do have a biased view on the game as a contributor to the project, it is a solid game on its own.

While it does have pacing issues as its main purpose is to be a community project for the game jam, it exceeds at that aspect in contrast to its appeal as a standalone work of art.

I was vividly entertained through the authors understanding of the appeal of Monster Girl and Yandere Boyfriend tropes, and I was pleasantly surprised by her understanding of how the "good endings" don't necessarily appeal to moral understandings of the trope.

Overall, it was an entertaining experience and I do wish to see what else to see the creators of this game create as a follow up to this fanmade experience.

The emoji affecting the scene were a nice touch! The only thing I’d point out is that there is not much happening on the screen (movement/effects~) wise and it made it a bit more difficult for me to keep attention.

Art is 11/10 Voice acting is 110/10 Amazing game!

What a fun story! The voice acting really made this feel like I was watching a movie! I can't wait to stream! Be back with the updates soon!
