Nice game, definitely didn't expect to see something made in scratch. Hand-drawn sketchy-like visuals are definitely the cherry on top here.

Keep up the good work!

I did actually laugh out loud a few times. I can't believe you did this in Scratch, that's quite brave. Annnnnd I can only imagine the ridiculous amount of time it took to draw/animate all of this!!!

I am currently giving you a round of applause in front of my laptop. WELL DONE.

Developer(+1)

Trust me I’m not brave, I just can’t code so I used scratch. :) 👍

Wow, did you draw all of these illustrations yourself? That’s amazing! I especially love the design of the grimoire. I’d honestly love to have it as a keychain.

I also had no idea you could make a game like this in Scratch! You can really tell how much care and effort went into this project. I hope you keep making games in the future!

Just a little bit of feedback: since it’s a point-and-click game, I think it would be nice if dialogue could also be advanced with a mouse click. Having to switch back and forth between the mouse and keyboard felt a little inconvenient.

I also think the text could be slightly smaller.

Thanks for making such a cool game!

Developer

thank you so much for the feedback, I actually tried to add ways other than the space bar to move forward but this game is very scuffed and I genuinely think the whole game would just fall apart if I tried that again.

As someone who has used scratch a bit, I loved seeing the cat as an enemy lol. I was also pretty impressed at what you could pull of in scratch!! Loved the art and the writing was super silly~

Developer(+1)

Thanks, I’m glad someone noticed the scratch cat. 🐱

Little too scary for me!

Honestly though, this is just plain fun. A few holes here and there but I'm pretty sure you know where and what.

Developer

thanks! The game is a little scuffed, but if there’s any game breaking bugs please do tell.

Lol really funny game, the story is well written and the art is really REALLY unique. I loved how creative you are to mix art styles (the big foot end lol). I want more of it! Amazing job!!

I really liked the story, but especially the visual style. Everything being hand-drawn gives it a really cool feel, congrats! I’m curious to see how the story will end.

And by the way, nice Bigfoot joke :)) I love that kind of dry, ironic humor.

Developer

thank you! I had one up with that Bigfoot 2 years ago and never got the chance to use it until now.

Developer
