It truly felt like going through a lost media rabbit hole.
Honestly, I can't have enough of mysteries tied to the Vatican. :)

Choice of font, graphic design and of course music was great!

Thank you!

Ye, Vatican seems to be an endless sources of mysteries, from true crime to esoterism and sci-fi you can always count on it!

Flawless eerie/uncanny analog horror vibes. My favourite plot thread was the angel choir video, the actual track was haunting. I love how the soundtrack plays a central role in the game, and the emotional core of the story at the end was a nice touch. Great work as always!

Thank you! At the beginning I wanted to use the actual angel choir audio file, but it was more fun to make an original one, I'm glad you liked it!

Very much in love with the PSX Resident Evil/Silent Hill vibe. The presentation, tone, and just aesthetic felt like it transported me back in time to when I used to sit around playing those games late at night. I truly appreciate being able to have that feeling again and didn't expect it from this game jam!

You did a great job giving JUST enough information to let your mind to a lot of imagining and wandering. And the soundtrack is GODLY.

Thank you so much! <3

Dropped a more in depth review on the game's page, but doing a shorter one here for the sake of the submission.

Really strong visuals on show here, with a short but interesting narrative. The ultimate strength of the game is the soundtrack, which really sells the mood and makes it worth playing on its own frankly.

Wow, this was such a cool piece. I love the sound novel space you went with here, it uses your strengths as a composer really well. My only real issue in playing was that I couldn't adjust the volume, but even then, that's a minor complaint. The story was really well-written and I liked the comfy vibes of searching for an answer to something you're personally connected with, it was quite nostalgic.

Congratulations on the release!

Thank you! I've just released an update for the game that includes the option to adjust volumes (among other things!), little by little I'll try to polish it after the jam

The lo-fi crunchy visual style reminded me of a lost PS1 game, music was very nice, airy and atmospheric with a certain bleak uncomfortable horror tension, I liked the documentary feeling of using the message board posts, youtube screenshots, etc. The 90s/early 2000s feeling was great, with the minidisc and tape player, the visuals gave the impression of Resident Evil/Silent Hill with the text presentation of Higurashi.

a short but very cool and atmospheric submission, especially considering it's the work of only one person

thank you so much! that's the mood I was going for
