Pretty cool game! Really satisfying to play, I like the mechanic where killing destabilized enemies transforms their bullets into gems!

Now, I’m not sure if you intended for it to be possible to press both Z and X at the same time. I figured it out near the start and just kept both pressed the entire game, it felt quite overpowered lol

Also, the background music is a bit too short of a loop for the amount of time it plays, although it’s good, it gets repetitive fast.

Otherwise, I really had fun playing this, great job!

This is some quality jam. Catchy music, good level design, well made bullet patterns and a cool design for the player ship. I think the enemy bullets are rather fast, but not unfair, I'm able to dodge them just fine, I was kind of taken back by it. I don't really have any negatives. Amazing work!

This is a total banger. Quality is actually close to what I'd expect from an actual shmup made by Cave or Taito back in the day. Mechanics feel very thought out and fully featured, levels are really nicely laid out, and enemy patterns are diverse and fun.
Also, the music track and sounds are super dope. Your tracker skills are top grade.
Absolutely great, I love every aspect of this game.

I did 515330 points, moderately abused bombs (I used 4 in total during this successful run?).

The game plays pretty much like an arcade game so obviously it's great, and eventually clearing bullets by focusing on one enemy is a fun extra mechanic, I really like it.

Really well made classic shmup !

This is super fun to play, and the retro style feels very authentic to an early 90’s game. the ship designs are also quite cool and the floating island decor looks beautiful.

In terms of music you had me sold instantly with this very Genesis sounding banger XD

Gameplay wise i’m a bit confused by how the destabilize beam works, i didn’t seem to get gems when i used it so i spammed both weapons at the same time, got some gems from time to time and managed to survive for a bit. The one detail i like with this system though is that when you get a kill that gives you gems the shots turn into gems and clears the screen, that’s super helpful :o

Other than the small confusion on how to get gem kills, i had a blast playing this, well done :)

Now this is a classic-ass classic shmup, very well done! The Genesis-style music was really cool and I loved the gamefeel, the fact it was all done with GMS2 is something I respect too cuz' it feels super polished as a shmup engine. As for the gameplay, the instability mechanic is definitely very quirky and brainy, maybe a little too much so for the average player, and the fact you can shoot both the beam and spreadshot at once kinda dampens it, but I found it very charming and hey it even tracks your high score mine didn't do that lol. Could've maybe used a bit more personality but it's a solid package. Good stuff!

This was great! Super polished all around. Not sure I understood the difference between the 2 weapons but I had a blast playing it
