Thanks for providing a Linux download. I couldn't get it to work at first. I even tried the Windows .exe through Lutris/WINE, and that had issues. Only when I went back to get the error for the Linux version did the game start up.
3D is always a bold choice -- an interesting contrast to the other submissions. Controls are stuck on WASD and Space and are not intuitively re-mappable. I play left-handed, so this was an accessibility issue for me. Mouse over-sensitivity was a separate issue.
Theme was kinda present, but also not. The player character isn't aboard or assisting a ship in distress, but a military theme is present.
Either a tutorial or [more preferable] a clever layout is required to introduce your tasks if further development is planned. Perhaps you start off just operating the radio in a larger facility, and get moved around to different posts for each level until you end up here.
In short: it's rough, but has remaining potential to uncover.
Thanks for playing, sorry for Linux no't working, I don't haw any one to test the Linux version, options and tutorial is already in developmental so after month or few months it should be working, and thanks for your suggestions. Sorry for bad grammar.
Obviously: Needs Tutorial.
Really love the concept though, and generally believe this is a project you could - and probably should - continue working on. Being a ship spotter whilst micro-managing fuel has all the basics of those job-sim games everyone get's hyped over! Especially if you add some stealth mechanics, and more weather effects!
Really well done!
I figured out the diesel and the generator - nice "Pbbbbt" sound on the generator. But lots of issues. The fog seemed to get denser randomly so I couldn't see anything. Ships seemed to spawn unevenly, so I went a while before anything happened in a couple runs. Mouse sensitivity needed to be toned down. What was the purpose of the lookout platform? I couldn't see anything from it.
Giving us a look at the map and how ships move as an intro would help.
Thanks for playing, fog density changes because, I and my playtesters think that game was to easy so I added this little challenge, the ships haw to spawn every 61 seconds and at the start, so I don't haw any ideas why ships wasn't spawning in time, for sensitivity I'm thinking to add settings in next version, lookout platform is just for decoration because I forgot to make model which size would work whit trees. Sorry for bad experiences and bad grammar.
The game looks very pretty! I love the design of the trees, and the water looks great, as does the boat. The fog is impressive! The WASD controls and space bar to jump and all that was very intuitive, though it would still have been good to have maybe a menu option at the start screen that tells you how to play.
The thing that tripped me up though was, I had no idea what I was doing at all in the game. It said I am supposed to report enemy ships, but I had no idea how to do any such thing at all. I mostly just explored the island until the enemy ship won a couple times before giving up. I did find that I could pick up diesel, but not how to use it anywhere.
Thanks for playing, so you had to get into the bunker on which you spawned (grey box) in one side there was doors (brown cube) if you interacted whit the doors you could open it and in the inside there is table whit map where you haw to report final destination of enemy ships, radio station which sometimes brakes and starts to make sound, nearby is a door after opening the door you will find generator there you need to put fuel if it doesn't make any sound, sometimes antenna which is on the top of the bunker will brake you need to fix it to by doing a bit broken mini game, you have to remove brown sticks from antenna.
I think having some kind of tutorial in the game would help immensely!
I will start making it when I will have some free time.
Interesting idea! It took me a while to figure out how to actually do anything, so a little more guidance/tutorial would have been nice. The camera sensitivity seems way too high for me and I didn't see an option for adjusting it, so that took some getting used to haha.
Thanks for playing, I will try to fix everything
Interesting concept! I was a little confused how to report the ships at first. I kept loosing initially. I eventually understood better and was able to report a couple ships before I got stuck in a radio interface?
Thanks for playing, does radio interface had two buttons on bottom left? cause you had to move red cube by pressing the buttons and catch tree waves (there was bug when you don"t press buttons waves won't spawn). I have one question for you, do you think ships are to fast, because I think they are to fast, but playtesters had no problems whit speed. (I'm very sorry for my grammar)
Hi Pompausiai. Initially, I wasn't sure how to enter the building and was running around with just a gas can. If the door was a little more obvious or similar that would be nice.
The boats went around both directions of the island, and initially I was reporting the top square because that is where I saw the boat, but I was supposed to report it's final direction instead. I had to restart the game multiple times because I didn't realize this. Somehow, I opened some radio frequency menu and I didn't know how to get out of it so I ended up just quitting the game at that point. I hope that helps understand what I experienced! You could work on a v2 of the game. :)
Thanks for the report soldier, this information is very important for my, thanks to you, now I will try to fix everything what you mentioned:)
I'm very sorry for my grammar again.
