Really cool concept, though I may have let Bob and humankind down on my play through. Oops. I'd be curious to see how y'alls game would play differently with the ability to jump or have other move mechanics. I found sprinting to be actually harmful during my runs (it only helped me run into the aliens faster ), and it always felt like I needed to wait a bit beyond the recharge time before I could use it again. Nice graphics and I'd be curious to play again if you make any tweaks post jam. Thanks for making and sharing your game!

it's not bad, but i would get rid of the mouse shot and manage all with a joystick or keyboard.

It has a bug in the restart button, don't fully refill the ammo(feel like replentish random amounts) but somethings i have to restart 2 or 3 times because don't refill the hp bar.

A tip for the pixel art idle animation, the feets shouldn't look both to the same direction, it feel unantural unless are a walking frame , as is holding a weapon the back foot should be pointing to camera. And other thing that hel the animations, its not made on the black move the reflextion the bright color should acompany it, if not it apear its deforming instead of moving

Played it all the way through. Its pretty fun! I would love to see some UI/Art updates and maybe just more weapons and balancing, but it is a really fun game, thoroughly enjoyed. Well done!

Fun experience, it reminded me a bit of classic Resident Evil.

I loved the radio commands the most, I thought it added a bit of charm.

The core gameplay loop is actually surprisingly solid and feels good. The scarcity of ammo forced me to learn the optimal number of shots to fire before I can finish of the enemy with melee. Having a sprint was a nice touch because it allowed me to run away and try to regain the advantage in bad situations.

My feedback if you choose to keep updating the game, is to make the melee more punchy and juicy. For something so essential, it doesn't feel good right now and lacks game.  Also maybe make the ui larger, it is so important when you need to keep track of ammo.

Nice work, had fun playing it

Thank you so much for the thoughtful review! The melee has been a common complaint. If we choose to iterate on the design, we will definitely implement your suggestions.
