The most creative use of the "limited space" these out of the game I've played.  Every other game I've seen, including my own, interpreted that to mean physical space.  Plus, best aesthetic.  Really impressive.

This is such cool art and a fun idea. It's so hard to tell a story with a game, especially with a game that was only made in three days, so kudos to you! Big fan of Sunny!

Developer

Thanks a lot for the kind words !!

This was a really fun game. Quite different to any thing else seen in this jam. I really love the artwork and the gameplay is really fun too. Absolutely amazing!!

Developer

Thanks  you so much !!

Really cool really nice really trendy!! Looks and sounds amazing and I love all the effort that went into the articles

Im sure you already know, but those visuals are legendary!

I wonder where you got the icons and textures, or did you make them maybe?

You really nailed the win 95 aesthetic

For the gameplay, it was KINDA confusing
(Maybe Im dumb but) I didnt understand why you pick the least popular article to get more views.
Id get it if u picked the least popular and then the other 2 would get downloaded.

Also, the space system didnt bother me as much as I was expecting. One round, Idk what I did but the download window was stuck above and I couldnt select any more articles (had to restart)

But the idea of picking the least popular article was implemented really well, It wasnt alwasys Too obvious but not impossible to figure out. It was really fun thinking about which one will be the most and which one will be the least popular

I still cant get over the fact that you made this all in 3 freakin days.

GGs for that

Developer

you try to download an article people has never seen in order to be original when you post on your blog  !

Developer

and thanks you so MUCH with the feedback it means the world

for the icons and images and all, I lurked a lot on veeery old forums lol, and also i had to try a windows 98 emulator in order to take screenshots

but for the most parts of the game, i did them manually lol (too much work)

It's pretty unique consept and aesthetic.  Retro in a new way

This is an insanely cool game with very well applied limitations, good graphics, sounds, I liked it!

Developer

ty so much !

HOW DID YOU DO ALL THIS IN JUST 48 HOURS!

Really love the art style, and the use of the limitation, it gives me some good-old times vibe, and I really enjoy reading those articles.

btw, I'm a little bit scare when I play this game lol, that kind of art style makes me feel like this game is a horror game.

highest score: 16970

Well, I started by redacting a GDD with all I wanted to have in the game, separating things in like what was core to the gameplay, and what was some polish (and even if I managed to get a LOOOT of things, there are so MUCH ideas of polish that went away !)

this game is not an horror game !!!

also congrats for your highest score ! really impressive.

btw i got 7 pages of GDD, and here's a part of my todolist

Submitted(+1)

holy moly, that's a lot of things on your todolist. The fact that you manage to finish all of them(well, almost all them.) is incredible, I think this game is pretty fun, even though it definitely requires……well, reading, and reading English is definitely not my strongest skill.

(Well, it feels like horror game, lol, and I'm still have no idea how I ended up with a score of 16970.)

The game is amazing in all four categories! Crazy that the world ended 25 years ago. Now we drink fluoride out of tubes, and live in a simulation. What a world!

Developer

thanks for the feedback ! yeah the dead internet theory might be something after all ?

Super nice game and very cool music.

Developer

Awwww thanks for the kind words !! this means so much to me you cant imagine !!

Awesome game! Really loved the 90s aesthetic and sound design. Very good job! Could easily see this game going big if you decide to continue development.

Developer

There's a few people telling me the game could go big, but with the ending and all, I dont know what i could add more (instead of the few polishing ideas i got here and there, but...)

anyway thanks a lot for the feedback it means a lot to me !

Amazing vibes! Very Impressive for 3 days!!!

Developer(+1)

Thanks a lot ! I actually got it done in 2 days lol, cuz u know, school on friday..

Submitted(+1)

Hell yeah, this was really cool and I love the little atmosphere you created here, images had the perfect amount of graininess and you this feels like the most clever use of the limitation I've seen so far.

A really solid foundation for a full game if you chose to continue with development!

Awesome job!

Developer(+1)

Hey, yo, you're the third person telling me i could grow the game big ! I'm going to believe it !!!

Thanks for the feedback, really appreciated !

Submitted(+1)

Too much polished for a 3 day jam (and you did it in 2 days! :o)

Really enjoyed it thoroughly, must say this is very cool and epic :D

Developer(+1)

OMG THANK YOU !!!!

Submitted

This is incredible for 72 hours, and is probably the best game here. Great use of limitation, I really liked reading the articles themselves

Developer

WOAW !! Thank you ! I'm pretty eager for the jam's results, i gave my soul and body on this jam (and i had only 48h for the game lol cuz friday i was in school and with my gf x)...)

Submitted(+1)

Developer

That's really cool game!
And I though there is jumps care because it's kind a look like horror games, but still I like it! (And also this is the first time I play a horror game with the old classic style)

Developer(+1)

this is not intended to be a horror game x)

i'm glad you still liked it !
