What a nice choice!! Please consider rating my game.
Haha I may already have! And thanks for the feedback!
Truly unique!
Thanks! We were going for something that no-one’s ever made before.
do you want to try my game too?
lego survival game 2d
I just couldn't hold myself from buying the plutonium, the game was a blast hehe!
XD I’m glad you enjoyed it!
very fun and silly
Thanks! Good luck on your submission too!
Unique take on the "Overpowered" theme! I love how the world changes through your actions.
Thanks, @Code_Forge and I had loads of fun making it!
The requests are really funny! Good luck!
This game is so creative and hilarious! More than that, it is also very visually polished and even the credits are made with care. Great job!
Thanks, I always try to polish my games and make them fun and creative! Good luck on your submission too!
Really funny game, enjoyed making overpowered choices and seeing the results of that wreak havoc in the world. What an overpowered computer. Great job!
Thanks! Your comment pretty much sums up our game in a nutshell! XD Good luck on your entry too!
thanks! Please rate it if you want!
Love the idea! The color palette reminded me of the Pico-8 style. The UI is smooth and clean—great work!
Haha I know why the color palette reminded you of the PICO-8 style - it is the pico-8 style! @Code_Forge made the art in PICO-8, since that’s what he’s used to using. It turned out great in the end - thanks for the feedback!
By an absolute landslide the best one in the jam!
The tiny details add so much, the art and music go so hard, the writing is hilarious and the game is just so damn engaging; couldn't pull myself away from it!
Thank you for making such an amazing game!!
Why thank you! We had a wonderful time creating it too, although playing and creating the game were equally fun and we sometimes got distracted while doing it! XD
Haha, happened here with my game too lol.
This was a great concept well implemented. Funny setups as well, great job!
Thanks! Good luck on your entry too!
Great intro!
Thanks! Good luck on your entry as well!
Very fun, nice touch with the animations! Well done.
Thanks, good luck to you on your entry too!
Fun concept, interesting to see the changes happening to the town as you make decisions.
Thanks, I agree! It was fun to make as well as to play - we loved creating it!
This is cool! I got ending #2, the world blow up.
this was very fun!
Thanks! Good luck on your entry as well!
Really nice minimalistic pixel art style! The color palette is really nicely picked. There were some requests that I wish I could accept in real life; It reminds me of 'Papers, Please,' but with cheerful vibes :D. The music and SFX fit really well with the game. Awesome job! Keep up the good work
Thanks! Yes, @Code_Forge did an amazing job on the artwork.
Unfortunately we cannot take all the credit for the color palette as he did use PICO-8 for most of the artwork, which has a set palette. However, it was @Code_Forge’s idea to use PICO-8 as he was already used to the system, so he can receive credit for the choice of tools and resulting main colors of the game.
Haha yeah I see what you mean about it reminding you of “Papers Please.” Most games I create have a cheerful vibe to them, I’m glad you enjoyed it!
What surprised me most was that we were able to whip out such a masterpiece (At least in my eyes!) in such a short amount of time! 9 days is not a lot to work with - and partnered with this being our first game jam, as well as first finished game on Itch or GDevelop, it turned out suprisingly well.
PICO-8 is awesome! And honestly, the fact that you produced such great work means the tool is just that—a tool! You all should be really proud of what you've achieved here.
Yes, thank you! And I agree, PICO-8 is a great tool for pixel art, and game development.
What does the artistic member of your team use? They did a great job!
Ah, thank you! My wife used Photoshop for the creation of art and frame-by-frame animations; she's most familiar with it because of her graphic design background (I am so glad that she transitioned to game artist! :D). You may try using LibreSprite for pixel art – it's a free fork of Aseprite and it works pretty well. (A pixel art enthusiast here! :D )
Cool! That sounds like a fun relationship, I wish you good luck!
Also, thanks for the advice on graphic creation, I might look into it!
Fun to see the town change with your choices. I ended up quitting job as it just kept going on and on lol
Nice game tho and nice art.
Haha yeah eventually once you complete 70 requests (Yeah, it’s kind of a lot looking back!) You’ll get an ending based on different factors and decisions you make.
Yea multiple endings is a nice idea but 70 is a lot for a Jam game I think.
Still great game tho 👍
Yeah, I realized that a bit too late! Yesterday I was looking at it and some people were play-testing it, and they all thought the same thing.
But of course uploads are disabled during the voting section so I can’t upload a newer version which also contains a bug fix.
Thanks for the feedback though! And yeah, I agree that it’s really fun to play even after I created it.
Yea but at least you have a complete game here.
I am going to sit down in a bit and do a few runs.
I ended up blowing up the world, doh. A lot of dialogue must have taken ages good work.
Haha yeah most people get that one - you’ve got a pretty good game too.
