I like the bleed effect when you shoot the enemies. :o Great game!
It quickly turns into chaos lol. Nice little VS-like! You could’ve kept the character’s body upright instead of making it rotate upside down when turning.
I did it on purpose to not soft lock yourself by the turrets and being unable to walk around them. There was probably a better solution but this is all I could do in the time period. Love that you enjoyed the game!
Amazing
The frogs are cute and i like the rotating mechanism.
The whole character rotating around is silly and I like it. Cool ship design as well. The particles were indeed a great touch and there were just enough sound fx to keep the game feeling lively on the audio side. Good work!
Nice use of particles!
thank you!
man this title funny as hell. good work on the game though, fun gameplay, and nice visuals.
Had to make it eye catching. Appreciate you checking out my first (definitely not last) game jam!
Wouldnt know how to do that by myself if think ^^
Simple and fun. Great work
Simple but fun game well done.
I would disable "Rotate object" in the movement behavior just so we don't rotate upside down hehe
So I did that intentionally so you can attempt to snake around the turrets. Mainly a gameplay decision, I do agree it looks kinda silly though, I just couldn't figure a way to make it look nicer lol
I love seeing creative ideas like this! While there’s room for improvement, especially in gameplay flow and polish, the core is there. Every project helps you grow, and I’m excited to see how your future games evolve!
Appreciate it! I've been hopping engine to engine since I was 10 and this is the first thing I've actually been able to make (mostly) without help. Lots of things I wanted to include but couldn't due to time, and honestly I've had so much fun I think once I get better I could turn this into a real game someday
