Such a cool game. The concept is just amazing. I love the mechanics and the functionality of the game. It would be very cool to see the game expanded though, maybe keep the story going about test subject 59. I can see the all the effort into the game and I hope you get top 5.

Developer (3 edits)

thanks a lot! Yeah I will think on expanding the story if people like the game!

Sorry for the delay in playing and rating your game.

Excellent Story writing/World building. Your description on game page and intro plus title screen had a nice retro feel.

All original art and animation gave it a nice unique look as well.

Gameplay also super fun and quite addictive. Also nice music choice.

Thank you this game was a pleasant surprise a hidden gem you might say.

Super creative and very well done!

P.S Super fun start as well with splatting/killing the evil scientist guy.

Developer(+1)

thanks! Much appreciated! I tried your game as well and it’s very well made as well!

Very interesting and unique gameplay mechanics. Controlling the item you drag takes time getting used to but feel so rewarding when you master it! Great game!

Developer

thanks man

once you are in the main gameplay its fun. the concept is not new but you definitely executed the idea well. nice job. I would love your comments on my game too, thanks.

This was fun! Question did you use the GDevelop template that Helper Wesley made?

Developer (3 edits)

Thank you! No not at all, this game was created from scratch, no templates used. I coded everything and drew everything without using templates (I dislike using templates as it makes the game feel unoriginal). While my method of changing rooms has been inspired by Helper Wesley's game Spent Shells, the rest of the mechanics are entirely different. Such as the people come to you with pathfinding behaviour, finding their way around obstacles.

Same, I dislike using templates too. I was just curious, because it was somewhat similar to the template, but also very different. So if you did use it, you changed it a lot. You did really good for 9 days, and it had a unique mechanic!

Developer(+1)

thanks! No I didn’t use the template.

it was fun, love the idea and it really fits the theme

Thank you! I spent some time brainstorming the telekinesis ideas before getting started on the game!

I like the central mechanic of moving objects into enemies to kill them

Developer

Thanks a lot!

Nice game

Developer

thanks!

Binding of Isac and Nuclear Throne are one of my favorite games and this has that vibes. The telekinesis is really well done. Good Game I hope you can make something with this because has a lot of work in it. Keep the good work.

Developer (1 edit)

thanks a lot! I’m glad the work I put into it has paid off.

The concept is very good and the execution is great. Art is also very nice! It was good to see that different objects obey to physics in different ways! The only thing I was wondering was if there is a route to escape or is it infinite? Would you consider the option of am exit route in the future?

Developer (2 edits)

Thanks a lot! I made all the assets and free everything myself.  Also the physics took a lot of bug testing and was very tricky. i did consider making an escape route but couldn’t decide how that would work with leaderboards, so at present it is infinite thanks!

What a wicked concept and very clever interpretation of the theme. Definitely keep working on this one as you have a cool little game on your hands. Areas I'd like to see tweaked;

Melee Combat.
After using the ability, the enemy seemed to instantly morph back where they were almost.
Just little tweaks, UI, that kind of thing but nothing major ... Great job :)

Developer

Thanks, yeah I need to work on that melee combat as I added it at the end.
