I like the retro vibes this game gives. The enemy variety is great especially because they all have something special about them. And being able to customize you character is a nice touch. When I died my character just stopped, couldn’t do anything and none of the buttons could reset the game of go back to the main menu. Apart from that it’s a fun game!
Oh, to reset the game you just wait for the restart button to show up and click it.
This game was very fun, but I felt like the visuals were lacking a bit. Maybe next time you should try GDevelop's built-in pixel art app
I'm right now working on AREA HECK 2. It won't come out for a while but play it when it comes out.

it's REALLY fun! the enemy types are cool, the music is great! the only down side is the shooting in the 4 directions, but other than that it's REALLY cool. Hope you do great in the jam!
Definitely has potential! I really like the fact that you limit the player to being able to shoot only in 1 direction at a time. Just needs some polished graphics, a bit smoother controls, and this could really be something.
