Oh, that’s funny! Instinctively, I wanted to move using up and down.
As for me, the mouse shooting doesn’t work — only the space bar does.

its funny how you need to walk around your word to defend it, the game can use some more fx / gamejuice

Very good game! If you hold down the space bar, bigger projectiles come out! One possible improvement would be to add an effect when enemies are destroyed.

amazing simplistic art style! I also love the smaller details, like how the planet slowly spins around, and the custom cursor! The music also- it just adds so much to the intensity of the gameplay, which is spot on! Great work, mate!

What a fun entry! The game loop is pretty addictive and fun! The music and SFX fit well with the game!
If you decide to continue working on this after the jam, a small suggestion is to add some screen shakes when the enemies collide with the planet!

I had fun playing, though I felt like shooting with the mouse was much better than using space. I also like how you added a sitting animation. Overall, good job!
