WOW! That reminds with old Nintendo Game boy games before color games came out of the green pixel art. This is a great game loved it. Wish the best of luck in the jam.

Fantastic platformer with game boy aesthetic, destructible terrain was a really nice touch too. Great work!

This was really ambitious and cool for a game jam project! I love the 1-bit style and if I understood correctly, it has random level generation and destructible terrain?! That's amazing for a jam game! You must be a wizard... Felt quite a finished gameboy game already and ready for the shops.

I love the art style. Really cool!!

Great game

I'm not able to play as I'm on mobile, but I watched it on YouTube.

I must say, that's a lot of stage design and gameplay content created in such a short period of time!

the destructible environments are so much fun

This is one of the best games that I have played here.

You nailed the retro feeling so well that at some point, I felt like I was travelling through time.

I admit that I was a bit bored at the beginning, but once I got used to the controls, I was hooked!

And the music! I loved the music! Lots of 5s from me. So far, I’ve only tried about 10 games, but I could easily see this becoming one of the winners!! Unless there’s something even better out there.

Ps. Polish it and turn it into a small full game once the jam is over

The best one I've played so far!

I really enjoy the art and music, and the roguelike elements are great too!

Good job on this one!

One of the highest ratings I've given a game so far.

The platforming feels great and the upgrade system is very clever and well-implemented!

You seriously have a real talent for game design!

My only note is that I would like a visual of some kind to track what levels my upgrades are at, cheers!

"It's me, Carl!" I can see the glass cannon and the level remodelling *cough* becoming nice mechanics to find secret paths. Great job!

Submitted

I didn't expect fully destructible environments. You can cheese most levels by flying over them and shooting downwards though. good game

I love how simple and fun the game is! The upgrades make the game more enjoyable, especially when I can run and leap over long gaps and destroy dangerous obstacles with my vacuum.
