Finally, my experience fighting Sans Undertale pays off lol.

But forreal though, this was so well done and cool!

Love this!

For some reason this game ran really poorly for me :(

I'm on a gaming PC and most of the other entries gave me no issue

Very unique game! I can tell a lot of love was put into it.

Funnily enough I was gonna say that the maze part dragged a bit due to the slow speed but the speed was doubled on the second one.

I like the art and the fact that you made enemy AI, I know that stuff isn't easy.

Would love to see more polish in the gameplay and sound design!

The amount of work you put into all the art for your games deserves more recognition!

I like the art and presentation, but the jumping felt *really* bad.

I can see the vision in the level design and the challenge it could represent and I think it could be great, but I feel that the character could benefit from a but of floaty-ness and more air control.

The sound design is also very grating on the ears, I got tinnitus and boy are my ear ringing.

I think though this has potential to be super awesome with tweaks to the movement of the character!

Very clever and well-executed game design!

The art and the effects were really well done! The splash in the water when you fall and the raindrops hitting the ground, great detail! Awesome use in sounds too.

Speaking of falling, I don't know if this was intended to be a rage game but the platforming felt a bit abrasive. I know it's an old man and all, but having a wall slide without a jump feels realllly bad in the soul.

Charming concept for the jam and cute environments. I had some odd input lag when moving the made the game feel janky.

Probably my second highest-rated game!

The level design is good, the jump mechanic is well done, the music is good, the art style is fantastic!

Thank God you had checkpoints, it was all smooth sailing till I had to jump through one of the windmills, just couldn't time it right.

Well done!

I don't mean any offense by this question, but how much of this was done with GDevelop's AI helper?

At the very least I know you used AI to write the description on the game page, and none of the assets in this game appear to be owned by you, yet no credit was given to any of the sources.

I hope you are very young because it's the impression I get from this submission, if so, I encourage you keep on learning and try to see how far you can push your skills!

Gave up after the 4th fall from the shooting platforms area, well thought-out platforming design!

I think you could justify making even harder areas if you added a checkpoint as a respite between sections.

Also I have an issue with the UI design, the onscreen buttons shouldn't be the same color as the background, makes it hard to see!

Simple yet very effective execution of the theme! Quite polished too :)

Ah yeah, see I thought that the tutorial was showing me the solution to the first level, so it turns out it was because I was dumb LOL

Well-designed game! Quite difficult too lol, could just be me.  More checkpoints would have allowed my scrubby ass to beat this.

Cool game!

I make-a da pizza

You know even though I found the tutorial overwhelming, I can tell this is real cool.

You always do such a good job with the UI and presentation, and used these assets with a clever visual processing to make it all so cohesive!

Cute!

After playing a few AI slop games in a row it's refreshing to play something where you can see the effort of someone learning how do get good at art (not an insult!)

I can tell where there were struggles were in the development in this with learning the engine. It looks like you placed the spawn point for the bullets properly, but didn't move the Origin point of the bullets to the center of the object, etc.

Not common to see a contra-style game like this, I can tell it was a very formative game for y'all :)

I was really excited to see that you had made a submission! It was as great as I expected :)

Love the presentation of the UI and JUICE effects.

I know these interactions with smashing the boxes would feel DELICIOUS in boss fights

It could be just me but I personally struggled with precise movements using the WASD layout, and the slide doesn't seem to happen if you are rubbing up against boxes.

Can't wait to see you in top 5!

This is ABSOLUTLEY my favorite game so far.

The way you put these free assets together was VERY well done.

The gameplay, while I can understand can have some rough RNG and get repetitive over time, is super clever and I love the variety in the monsters and the rules you need to keep track of. This could be a very popular youtuber bait game!

This was cool! I can tell a lot of thought went into putting this together, the audio is well done.

I think my main complaint is that while I don't have a problem with the speed of the character, the lack of checkpoints hurt a lot when I was near the top and thought I saw a secret platform to grab, and fell to my death. Suddenly that thematic slow climb up the mountain because very tedious.

I know this may not be a popular opinion, but I gave 4 stars on art.

The reason is because the use of the headlight is underrated and the snow effect is INCREDIBLE. I wanted to do something like that for my game but didn't have enough time.

Great work!

Damn that slippery punk!
This was cute and funny, I liked the secret ending.

I love the theater jpeg superimposed onto 3D planes for the background lol. This is definitely a unique concept!

I do think there could've been a bit more cohesion with the art assets. It may have helped in explaining the look of the antagonist

I was excited see what you had to offer this year, but on level one I *am* feeling a little dumb.

The little fellas are climbing all over the platform that I was guided to make by the UI but not climbing over it to reach the goal.

I'm not gonna rate this yet because I think I just don't get it and I was hoping you could clear up what I'm doing wrong so I can give this a proper rating :)

My bad, I'm not as familiar with 3D so I assumed the movement and shooting were built in behaviors. Obviously the UI, Camera work, grabbing the Key, and enemy detection etc is custom.

I decided to make this the last game I rate for the Jam.

Cool to see a narrative-driven title in a jam, and you sure did go hard on that, respect!

I will say right off the bat though that I have dyslexia, so the font and the words shaking gave me a real headache lol.

The sound design, while some parts were creepy, other parts were a little distracting in it's repetition. Replacing anxiety with annoyance.

Also, I don't know what caused this, but the mouse cursor would not latch onto the game window properly, so the cursor was moving around on my screen the whole time.

Either way, cool entry. Glad to end on this one!

Very good for a first jam! Having a map for each level was pretty cool and I enjoyed the secret cow level lol. The tutorial does it's job, it taught me all I needed to know. Keep it up!

Good lord I LOVE the presentation and camerawork in this game. Short and sweet, as a game jam game is meant to be. It did leave me wanting more though!

This was the most cool and unique jam I've played so far! It's too bad you didn't credit where you got some of the art/music or what generative AI program you used to make them.

Dang this game seems really cool and I would love to play a full version of it!

I can see the concept of this and I think it was put together extremely well, but unfortunately the game ran at 10FPS for me for some reason :(

This was really neat, but I had a bit of trouble controlling the character and there wasn't too much of a visual indication showing up for me as to when I had selected/deselected the character.

Neat game, a good start for learning a new engine! Sorry about the bug, there's always a bug we miss during these jams.

This was insanely good! Everything feels great and the use of audio and the visual filters is perfectly executed. The only thing that would tie the flow of combat and level progression perfectly is if there was a ground slam attack. Other than that my main critique is that the gameplay reflects nothing of the Jam's theme.
Either way, I think if you posted this to Newgrounds as is it would make front page instantly. Cheers

Good job! I can tell you're learning more and becoming a better dev every jam.

Let me know if it works for you

I liked this but I wish I could control it :/ The highlighting and movement of the troops was very finnicky for me.

The art and systems of the game were cool though!

Oh, THIS bug. This is a simple one, I forgot to set a limit on the skip button after the Line Number reaches it's goal to transition the scene. Just don't mash the skip button and let the scene play out.
