Spoiler Alert!
This is a review for v0.5pc.
The story is heartfelt and beautiful, the characters are brilliantly written, though the cuts between the email scenes and the social media scenes should be make clearer that they aren’t in the same time frame. It is (kind of) logical for their seperation to happen but regardless, this part felt more rushed that the rest.
The audio and art direction is also spectacular (and I love the little mini avatars). Coding wise, the entire Save/Load screen crashes on click, that About screen has words flowing out of the text box, which should be fixed after the voting phase.
As for the theme, it is not exactly clear to me, but maybe the ‘truth’ of their identity is the light that guides them; or it could also be the light of the phone/laptop provide an outlet for you to be yourself.
