You've done a great job! This is definitely one of the best games of this jam, if not the best. There was one annoyance though, I had enemies appear in me a few times. It didn't really affect anything much but it's still not very cool. Other than that, everything else is great!

Your comment means a lot to us! (although we dont think we are the best game xD)
The enemy spawning is actually done by a teammate who is still learning coding and godot in general! we decided to let each other participate so not all systems are all done by our experienced programmer :D
Hope you had fun in our silly little game hehe!
This game is pretty good! I liked that leveling up wasn't an immediate requirement, allowing you to save soul shards. The multiple maps are great, though there aren't many visual differences between them. The main menu is also well-designed, it really pops.
That was enjoyable. Thanks for making it. I kinda wish there was more after the final boss died. :D
Wow, amazing that you have managed to put this together in the timespan of 72 hours! Great work everyone, the music worked great for me (it was fast, dynamic, the perfect match for this game). A fun way to use the limitation with the 'rebirth' idea. The level ups are happening so fast though, I would prefer if it took a bit longer to get me the next upgrade that comes with every level up. Loved the idea with the trees as obstructions to make the game a bit more difficult. And I love the attention to detail with a different map for each rebirth. Great work!
Very well made game game and enjoyable. One of the best games in this competition. Also great use of the limitation.
Super cool! Extremely well put together and the graphics were amazing! It's insane that this was made in only 3 days.
Amazing use of the limitation imho, and very fun game. The game title art is so good
Great art, main menu was pretty well made. Otherwise a pretty fun game (those orb thingies are really fast :} )
Super fun and super replayable. My only request is that the level up screen automatically pops up and that the whole ui can be handled from the mouse so you don't have to reach over to click boxes. I noticed though that other people already made this critique. Also the way you did the all the presentation, like the intro text scroll and upgrade background effect was really high quality and great for world building.
The main menu was really well made just have to mention it. I really enjoy games where you can get really broken builds or just statistics in general so this game was definitely very fun to play for me. I was going to say you should be able to level up without a click but I one realised you could save soul shards, and two I found it really fun to just spam the level ups and have one medium amount of "oo what should I spend everything on" (every now and then) rather than lots of small ones.
One small criticism was that the go back to main menu button didn't have an are you sure section as it was placed right next to the next life button, only saying this because I miss clicked on it and I can understand why something like that wouldn't be added due to the jams time limit.
Thanks for playing our game! we really didn't have enough time to plan the game out but we had fun developing it, and it turned out to be fun to play because you can test out different builds xD, my favorite was a machine gun build that one shots the boss! you can also purposely die but replay the game and keep getting op haha. We'll also take note of the main menu button to prompt the player first next time, thanks again!
Good work! I'm obsessed with the parallax title screen! As a VS fan I enjoyed the game loop a lot, though I would say that Level ups should be offered without a click, the most challenging part of the game is finding the button when things are hectic!
Still, very polished, very cool, ggs
Nice take on the genre! The menu and intro felt very refined. I liked the skills that I could upgrade to. If you'd like to improve a few things, I'd recommend looking into the art style and color palette of the game itself to better match it with the overall tone. While it might not have been possible in the timeframe of a jam, animations would be another nice addition.
Nice concept! Could need some polish but the concept is fun.
Nice game ! Good job with the music and sound design, the "calm but epic" atmosphere makes it very pleasant to play. I think I will have to do a few more runs to try and get a entire magic balls build, it looks very powerful hehe :)
