    Hello everyone, I am Llama With AK47. A year ago I started teaching the basics of Unity for free in a community that I have on Discord. At the moment there are around 300 members. I usually have a 1 on 1 discussion with beginners where I explain everything they need to know (stuff like the interface, the most used components, most important code and real examples of code). I also make games from scratch for the group (our most recent game was a Plants vs Zombies remake) and I host game jams here on Itch (for the group).

    The next game jam starts this Friday. The theme is "Evolution" and the special object is "AK47". If you're new to Unity this is a great opportunity to sharpen your skills, find people to team up with and even get support from me (by joining the Discord). 

    You are allowed to use other engines as well (but you won't get support from me because I only know Unity).

   There is a very small prize of 25 euros for the winner. Also, last rank will get 1 on 1 discussion with me about Unity.

The theme which is "Floating" can be interpreted in any way and the game must include the special object ("Explosion"). No llamas needed.

    Hello everyone, I'm a bit new to hosting jams (this is my second one). I have a community on Discord where I teach the basics of Unity Engine as a hobby and this jam is for my group.

    I'm sharing because this is a good opportunity if you are a beginner to practice and perhaps join my community to receive support (if you are using Unity) and team up with others.

   This is a 10-days long jam where you have to incorporate a theme (which can be interpreted in any way you choose) and also a special object.

   The game can be made in any engine, but if you decide to use Unity, I can offer advice.

Hey, you need to add the whole build folder as a zip file, not just the .exe file. This is not usable.

    The app is divided in 3 parts: 

1. Part where you can learn the basics of C#, most important components in Unity and most important code (also has some examples of code)

2. Part where you can take quizzes to test your knowledge (can see the score at the end)

3. Part where you can look at examples of code. For example: 2d platformer movement, top down movement, tower defense. melee attacks in top down, tetris game. These examples are downloadable as Unity packages (you can then import them to your project)
