This was a joy to play around with! Reminded me in parts of some old RTS games, but I don’t remember which :D I really like the lo-fi graphics and sound effects, charming as heck.
I found the difficulty to be really unforgiving, as it seems like you really need to know the intricacies of the building right from the get-go. The strategy I ended up with was to get a lot of lumber mills in key locations, as they remove some burnable material in addition to providing supplies, then build a big mana factory complex that fuels minotaur pits around my camp. Add some wind dudes to buy the minotaurs time and fill in water golems in the gaps. That seems to do the trick!
Since I got the feeling of winning against terrible odds in a now destroyed world, I wish the level didn’t end and I could instead try to reclaim the territory, maybe by planting new forests and making sure that new fires cannot spread far :)
Great job on the submission! Lovely to see how all of these individual systems interact with each other and create a believable little sandbox!
