I've been working on a commercial release for a year now and this game jam will be a chance for me to start a small, fresh new project to get away a from my big project a bit. I'll also be off 3-4 of the 10 days of the jam, it'll try my best to squeeze something in 6 days! Good luck everyone! <3

Good luck to you too! I hope you do well on both this game jam along with your commercial game.

No problem. This is a game jam, sure, but this is also about community, and I want to help foster that. =) (Also what is your commercial game? I'd like to check it out, if you have a demo ready!)

I do not plan on releasing a demo unfortunately. The game is almost finish and releasing a demo would mean releasing the game haha. I should've release one month ago, oops... The name is : The NAGEN Project on Steam. Thanks for checking it out <3

What type of game is the commercial release?

Horror, RPG, This is the link to his game, I think

Oh wow.  I really enjoy the 1vAll genres.  reminds me of the Left4Dead LAN parties we used to do.  Plus getting all the multiplayer functions is a big lift.  I've only done single player things on UE5.  how did you decide to approach the online aspect of the game?

We chose to go with a client-host approach since we do not have the knowledge or money to deploy servers. UE5 has everything ready out of the box for online games (RPCs, Replication, Subsystem for Steam, etc). It's quite something developping a multiplayer game, but fun nonetheless. We still have some lag issue with character movement (rollback), but other than that it's working perfectly fine (if the code is correct haha). I'm happy to see that BenGaming3662 found my page!

Thanks! I have a website, and I understand how much it matters to get that 1 more person to see it. Good luck.
