P.S ,thanks for playing my game, I have uploaded a new build for my game minus the bugs and plus some new collectibles, pleas check it out.
Didn't think of that !! That would have helped a lot !
Thank you for pushing through. I tried to propose something different and it did get a lot of reaction ! Maybe not the best - I think it just lacks a few more visual cues I didnt have time to implement to make it more instinctual - but I love it when people still try what you offer them !!
Thank you !
Your welcom, just return the favour by sugesting any improvements I can do for my game ;)
I liked the rhythm concept and the boat idea.
The controls confused me a bit—I really tried to get the hang of them. Maybe consider switching to A/D or J/L? (Using both hands vertically didn鈥檛 quite work for me.)
Music would鈥檝e been a nice addition too—maybe something with a fisherman vibe, like a banjo tune.
Yes, I got really close to choosing AD JL, I wanted to add the forward/backward positions in the input, but I think it's not right yet !
Yeah, I messed up the audio system in the final rush..
Thank you !
I envy how synced the mechanics are but it seems like there was no music .
Yeah, I messed up the music before the last build :')
Thank you !
Creative take on the theme, I really liked the rowing mechanics, and the timing felt nicely synced.
The control scheme did catch me off guard a bit, and I think the game would really benefit from having some music to go along with it.
Good work overall!
Thank you 馃
Interesting control scheme, a bit tricky at first but eventually I got the hang of it and had a nice rhythm to it! Great work, cool concept!
Glad you got the hand of it !!
Thank you !
Cool game! Hard mode is a little bit ahead of time, so I need to hit the keys earlier than the indicators reach the boat. But I loved the idea! Felt rhythmic, even if no music was there, but I think even some atmospheric music would鈥檝e made a big difference. Very interesting game for sure
I know, I messed up the audio in the final rush .. :')
Thank you! 馃悺
The curve where you hit "VVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVV" goes hard I enjoyed that bit of the adventure. So sastifying.
I feel like the text was a little too hard to see. Would be great to have accessibility options to know what letters to press for varying degrees of eyeball-yness.
Yessss ! I had other levels with many more hard turns but they couldn't make it before upload... sadly
My apologies to your eyes !! They definitely are too tiny... haha It forces you to play by the colors !
Thank you !
Game is cute ngl. Well done!
Thank you ! 馃悷
It was really cool to see the fish you posted on Discord come to life in the game. You did a great job balancing the rowing mechanic with the timing. I especially enjoyed the smooth right slide when holding the key in the middle of the game.
That said, I found it a bit tricky to handle the unusual key combinations like R and U or V and N. Also, the lack of music felt a little off. Maybe you could try using arrow keys instead and add some visual cues to show which keys to press, to help better differentiate between the front and back rowers.
I'm really impressed with your work! Good job!
Yes ! Loved it so much I think Ill do a fish-oriented game next haha ! Thanks ! Trying a different take on inputs is so hard !! I tried matching the colors of the players and the barrels to differantiate between front and back, but it is not quite enough.
Thank you !
