Solid game you have here! I really like Vampire-Survivor-lite games like this, straightforward but fun experience. Thought I wish the difficulty scaling increased more on late games, cause with just a few upgrades I can get through the final boss with ease, the overall experience  I had was good. Keep it up on other projects!

This is a great little survivors-like! You managed to pack in a lot of content variety which can be really tough for short jams. I think enemies dropping stuff or contributing to the NPC spawn timer could make gameplay feel more rewarding, but the basic gameplay and survivors loop are all really solid here.

I suddenly want a survivors-like dating sim...

I think this was really fun!  The graphics look nice and the upgrades were pretty cool to have, this is very polished for a week long gamejam

The only thing I had a small issue with is my mouse going out of the window while playing browser,  which  threw me off a good few times. Though, it's no real issue, especially for a game made in a week.

I love the remove lag mechanic :) But for real the sprites are really well drawn, and the game is really fun!

Really nice! The gameplay feels satisfying and polished. The art is cute, communicative, and makes good use of the palette. The characters are fun despite having no dialogue.  Overall, I really enjoyed it.

Fantastic entry! I really liked the two art styles of the sprite-work and characters shooting. I also enjoyed the game-play of having to fight enemies and then upgrade your weapon, it was very satisfying to see and feel the difference of all the types of arrows. One thing that confused me was the indicator because by the time I would reach the location the helper already had disappeared. I also had a few performance issues with lagging too.

Developer

In hindsight having the despawn timer on the indicator wouldve been smart lol. Im glad you enjoyed my game!

I had a good time! The art is cute and the gameplay is straightforward. However, it feels like the scaling for the powers was off... there wasn't a real impetus to kill enemies at the beginning and by the end, there's so many it becomes more of a bullet hell than Vampire Survivor. That and projectiles were difficult to distinguish from the enemies. Still, I had fun the whole time through!

Developer

There is a fantastic point to be made that enemies serve no purpose of improvement, oops. Was thinking about having enemies drop XP like Vampire Survivors but i only flirted with the idea until it was too late. Otherwise, im happy you enjoyed my game!

The gameplay is very fun, the Vampire-Survivors-like genre is always a fine choice. The pixelart is really pretty. My main issue is that the game lagged quite a bit, although it could be partly my fault since my computer is not the best. Overall, it's a cool game!

So, overall, the game is pretty decent.

In terms of visuals, I can say that the artist knows their stuff—it's really not bad. As for gameplay, it's quite repetitive. Some obvious points:

  • For a roguelite, you need a lot of variety in enemies, weapons, etc. What's in the game now is mooore or less enough, but I'd like to see more (I know how hard it is to make games like this, and the progress in just a week is really good).
  • I’ll nitpick a bit, but still—there’s an "E" button to reduce lag... Why not make it automatic? If it's some kind of "coconut in Valve" thing, then fine, but I didn’t get the humor.

Minor things:

  • It would be nice to have more animations, but that takes time, so it's not critical.
  • For difficulty progression, you could take inspiration from "Vampire Survivors," where enemies come in waves. But it's fine as is.

In conclusion, I liked the game—it has potential!

Developer

I appreciate your criticism, I did fall pretty flat in some key areas. Also the "E" button reduces lag by removing sounds and damage popups, so maybe i musunderstand your statement but if its always on there would be no sound or damage popups. Overall, im glad you enjoyed my game.

This was cute! I liked the gameplay and the upgrades were satisfying. I did find it offensive to see what appeared to be a man with a woman as a love interest. In JUNE??? Put some top surgery scars on cupid's chest IMMEDIATELY! In all seriousness, this was very charming. I did find the extensive use of a hard black outline and the surprising addition of a saturated purple effect from the acid arrows to be a bit against the spirit of the palette lock, however, and the green hp bars on the exact same shade of green background made it a bit confusing at first.

The gameplay is really nice, the variety of upgrades really spices up the playthrough! I wish it was a bit better-optimised though, it did end up crashing my browser window.
The artstyle is very nice, I really liked the more detailed characters and the smaller sprites were also cute!
