[CONTAINS SPOILERS] First of all, I played this with my wives and we finished it. Second of all, I really support your effort to make games and the work you put in.

I found the gameplay to be a bit repetitive and the ending, although a good twist, made it feel like the work I put into playing the game and deducing things was kind of a waste of time when it could have just been a visual novel or a short or even long story instead of something I have to actually try to solve like a mystery and make choices, when it seems like nothing I did mattered to the story or outcomes. A visual novel seems perfect since it would show off the visual atmosphere and art, striking and well done as it is. Though of course I understand this is a game jam entry and is therefore a game.

If there had been more hints (I saw them and liked them) that [spoilers] the host is ourselves (perhaps playing on stuff like wanting dirt, I think it was, or breaking patterns of the character herself like everyone kept mentioning) and maybe picking up on them could potentially pay off by choosing ourself at the end (along with all the other characters being choices still) it would feel less like the gameplay didn't mean anything, and more like we actually had any say in the story.

Keep making stuff. The art was good and the atmosphere was good, too. Interesting idea for the story, just maybe not the format or execution that suits it in particular. Would like to play more from you or see other ventures.
