DUDE the sound design on this is AMAZING WTF. There's an incredible amount of detail through this entire thing and at no point did it stop feeling like new banger sections and tiny details were being thrown around left and right. The section that starts around 3:40 is genuinely so so good holy moly. I had to listen to that like 5 times over and each time I had a more exaggerated stank face. It's faint, but I can sorta hear the motif in there. It does feel like a bit of a stretch, though I can't disagree more when you say that you lost on listenability. There's an insane level of control on all of the extremely harsh sounds that should normally, in theory, be painful to listen to. I'm wearing headphones and this is clean as hell and maximally banging. This was a joy to listen to, phenomenal work! :D
