Description
I really enjoyed doing this game jam! I came up with something that I don't think I normally would. I was hearing a very slow paced song with motif 2 the one I used but ended up transitioning that into a fast Drum and Bass type song. Definitely not the first thing I thought of but I like how it came out and the fast section worked great to be my loop point. I started with more traditional sounds and then started to find electronic sounds that fit as well. Really liked how this turned out!

WOO-HOO! 4 minutes and 56 seconds of pure beautiful..... madness?
The first part of the track painted a picture in front of me of a little girl getting upset about something and lying on the grass....
...and then a sudden switch to a crazy drum8base rhythm! The melody seems to become either more optimistic or just a little bit brighter....
...and yes, I'm a fan of this bass!

This has a chill sound. I think my main feedback is that some of the notes didn't quite feel like they were in a spot that really sold the vibe you were going for.
Despite that, this was still quite pleasing to listen to. Excellent work.
Cool take with the EDM build up and Drum and base, the contrast with the ambient pads and piano going to full electronic was a bit of a shock not gonna lie it fits well nonetheless. The theme is indeeded there but like its been said, you could use some variation and not repeat the same notes all the time, the goal was to mostly play with the theme, it has to be there obviously but doing your own version and play a bit more would be a nice change.
This is a great use of the motif, I like the journey this song takes you on a lot! The energy changes in each section flow really nice, though some of the instruments and samples sounded a lil bit crunchy/MIDI to me. That sub is pretty crisp, I just think the rest of the instruments could use some more processing (eq/panning/reverbs/compression/whatever works) to make it all feel a bit more cohesive. This is a fun submission though, great work all around!
Hey! Nice song, I liked the sub bass sound! very huge :)I'd consider a little less repeating of the theme as is, rather making variations and flowing in and out of it. You did one or two variations but it still felt a bit repetitive to my ears. The groove was also a bit repetitive. The whole track did sound coherent and musical, so I think it has potential, keep at it!
