Description
An electronic piece inspired by Jupiter by Holst. For the first few measures before the melody comes in I turned the notes of the motif into an ostinato figure that will go on throughout the majority of the piece. I then introduce the melody with a call-and-response arpegiatted figure at the end before transposing the melody up a 4th on the second itaration. I then introduce a second melody expanding upon the motif a little bit more by dovetailing the end of the motif into a transposed version and then an upside down verson. The rest of the piece mostly is an expansion of all of the techniques already introduced. The loop starts at ~0:03 and end at ~1:36

This is enjoyable. I like the composition too.

The lead definitely gets a little grating in terms of mix, like it could use some EQing down. Sometimes reverb can help make things feel softer when you cut the highs out of the reverb EQ.

Great work! :)

Cool track, I like the delayed arps and the chord progression, I think the synth lead you chose is nice on the high registrer but in the range you chose to play the melody it does not fit as well in the mix, I think with just that synth to change it would make things more enjoyable. I like the punch at 1:15 they just need to be a bit more satisfying since the bass is probably clashing a bit with the kick which is why we lose some power.  Good job !

It somewhat combines a dreamy sound with a very cool drive. I could see this song working very well in a shut’em up. Very cool!

The track is good but it gets highly more boring along the way, doesn't evolve it kind of stays in a little bubble and slows down.

It's still a good track.

The drums aren't the best.

But in my opinion I don't really see this song in a video game.

I really like the arps and general sound design here, very enjoyable piece.

If I were to nitpick, maybe the drums could use a bit more *oomph* :)

Great job nevertheless!

I don't know how to describe it and I mean this very positively, this feels like it has the texture of felt bubble wrap. The interesting chord progressions and the automated delayed plucks make for such a great sonic texture that feels so good to listen to. I especially liked that turnaround at 0:25. Great work!

Really loved the feel of the kind of background texture from all the arps, really cool!

Can hear the holst inpiration! The bit after 0:48, compositionally the shifting repetitions were great, always loved that type of stuff after first hearing it in the title music to the movie Das Boot.

I think only thing that stuck out me a bit was that the melody parts felt a bit "rigid", and this might just be my personal taste, but I felt the melody notes could be a bit less quantized to add more emotion to the parts, especially since the melodies themselves are great.

Good work!
