Really great game, loved the art! I felt like the light for the guards was a little wide at times and caught me when I felt safe. But great execution overall!

Such a fun game! Great execution. I love the story and how it ties into the gameplay, with the part after finding the potion switching up the gameplay! Very fun.

This plays really nicely and the visuals are great. I really liked the footsteps being part of the mechanics. The guy providing encouragement between levels was a nice detail.

This was cute and fun. The only level that was trouble was the one where you needed to wait for the guard to walk past. It took a while to realize he was seeing the footsteps that hadn't fully faded. It might be better to have the in-between comment about your footsteps be right before that level, instead of the previous one.

Well done, I especially liked the audio and graphics

I enjoyed it a lot ! I almost rage quitted on the level with the key at the top where you have to jump the box right after getting the key, kept getting caught by the guard.
We used the same name for very different concepts haha. Great work !

Very Juicy, good art, enjoyable overall! I would recommend adding a full screen button to the web version to save navigating the menu, and also a thumbnail pic to the page.

Thanks for playing :).
Checked the fullscreen toggle now (honestly thought I already did that.... :)):

Cute cutscene animation to imply story, and the art of the tileset is very nice. Great idea on the tooltips to introduce controls, but if you trigger the enemy too early, the tooltips whiz by without being able to read them. Would like better sound / feedback when picking up an item (the slow fade-out not satisfactory, especially since the game design is dependent on quick-grabs / runs). The scene transitions with the camera zooms level-to-level very smooth.

Love the box interactivity, and being able to jump on it to leap over barriers. Level design in general very intuitive and well-planned.

Perfect length for a jam, and was an enjoyable playthrough. Liked that the last levels are essentially intentionally triggering the enemies and outrunning them towards victory, haha.

Hi!
As usual, time was sparse, especially towards the end. the tutorial really could have used some better layout.

The pickup sound was on our list as well, I also agree that the pickup anim breaks the game flow. We only started with the actual level design on the last day, I guess that's why we didn't think of touching the pickups again.

Thanks a lot for the detailed review!
