This game took me right back to the good old arcade times. Nice visuals and sound! It felt really fast and action-packed, that's not easy to achieve in a jump and run. The controls feel quite nice, the only thing I'd wish for: make enemies explode instantly, that would make it feel even better and faster for me. But other than that: Congrats, great work!

Nice graphics and art, but during the tutorial, I fell somewhere and did could not come out...

The movement felt solid and the overall vibe was really good. I enjoyed the small touches like the transition effects. Would've been nice to remap the dash controls. I noticed the enemies had health bars which was a cool detail! The vision mechanic was interesting but didn't feel fully integrated into the core gameplay

I loved the art and vibe of this game, it felt really complete overall and was honestly quite a bit of fun!

*Edit - You read me by a book with this moment LMAO I got a good chuckle from this, my urge to go left in platformers pays off again

I thought the movements were done well, one of the better platformers I've tried so far because the movements feel smooth :) I couldn't get used to Q being the dash button though but I liked the dash attack

Very cool game, love the style you have going on and reflecting bullets felt super satisfying!

Amazing game!

The art is beautiful, the music, even if there's a single one, is really good so we don't get tired of it.

My only issue with the game would be stage 3, in which I accidentally fell into the void wayyy too many times after a dash. A double jump could've been helpful to be able to help save ourselves from our mistakes.

Also, I was very probably seen a lot of times, but in the report it was always "0", so i'm not sure how it works, but I'm not complaining lol.

Incredible game!

It was pretty hard but it was fun and felt pretty polished! :D

I really liked the game feel and the art was nice. The whole vibe was just right, but the controls were a bit annoying to get used to. Pretty fun game overall!

Great polish and really fun gameplay! It was very challenging but it felt great to get past the tough stages.

I couldn’t finish level 3 “Leap of faith”, it was hard not knowing if I was jumping directly into the void lol.

The music was awesome at setting the mood, and it was a nice touch that near the end of a level the music relaxes a bit :)

I would totally come back to this after the jam to beat all the levels!

Great visuals, and I love the slippery controls! Nice work

Great visuals, very polished gameplay! Ran extremely smooth and looked awesome!

Love all the artwork, game felt a little too zoomed in for how fast the player moved? Perhaps a camera offset to give the player just a bit more of a chance to react?

Liked the idea either way, always love a ninja thats gotta go fast!

The camera was one of my worst nightmares, It was getting stuck on everything, and it still does, really gotta improve on making them. Thanks for the feedback!

This is really good. But I do question the controls. Why is the attack button right next to the movement buttons? It would be much easier to use one hand for movement and the other for jumps and attacks.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! The movement can be used both in one hand, with A,D, Q and the Spacebar, but if you use the left and right arrows of the keyboard you can use one hand for movement and the other to jump and attack!

The game looks and sounds good. I don't do a lot of platformers, so the low friction and high speed made this more challenging.

Submitted

Quite difficult, but the game has a very nice design and pleasant music.

Oh, very nicely put together. The smooth way the UI elements came out of the side and the combination of the sound and the text with the dialogs was very polished. Sadly platformers are not my forte, and my lack-of-skill stopped me a little while into the first level.

Rock hard but a lot of fun.  Wish I could give bonus points for the level name UI at the start of each level!

Submitted

Wow! The game looks amazing,  I especially love the UI and visual effects. Everything feels so polished!

Very fast-paced. I had a little trouble getting hit from off screen. I did like the quick slash and delayed explosion effect.
