Wow this one is so good! The artstyle is nice, the sfx makes sense, after losing a couple of times you actually listen to what he's saying, all that good stuff. Super nice game all around!
Nice! I love the artwork, especially the mustache wobble for the talking animation. Sound design was good as well. Very fun, short and sweet!
Really enjoyed this one. The art and animations were super charming, especially the wizard character. It all felt magical in a goofy, fun way!
Thanks :-)
I really liked the mustache and his mumbling, gave heavy Rowan Atkinson vibes, which is a welcome suprise. The game is cool actually feels like a test as once you've figured it out, its easy there on after!
Ha ha yeah now that you say it, it does sound like Mr Bean XD
I was confused at first, maybe you should show an example of a layout at the start. Or at least reveal the whole grid when you lose after the 3rd round.
But once I got it I was able to get to 12 in 3 tries pretty reliably, the game is fair and well balanced, just a bit hard to understand the explanation at first.
Also visuals are great and I loved the mumbling too. Great job overall :)
Yes I thought about revealing the grid at the end - but I was a bit short on the deadline, and it wasn't coded well enough that I could add this feature in a few minutes ^^'
Simple idea that works well. I really liked the quirky character and muffled mumbling. I would have liked a bit more depth to it, some kind of curve ball or something more to do beyond what I feel might be a memorable mini game to include in a larger project. Nice work!
Interesting take on the theme. Reminded me a bit of sudoku with the rows adding up together. I would have appreciated an accessibility option to turn off the lights around the cards as it got to be a bit much to look at over time and the text was a little challenging to read. I did really enjoy the character design for the wizard, and the story.
I realize this kind of fonts aren't too easy to read, so I tried to keep the text short - but I really wanted the text to look magical ^^ Anyway thanks for your comment !
Simple and exceptionally well-done! I thought this was a very clever idea, and I'm not entirely sure if I sussed out the "trick" to it or not, but I did manage to get a 12/12 on my third try haha! Perfect fit to the theme and the overall feel was very polished.
Nice one! Really liked the presentation, especially mr. Marvin's deadly magical stare when he presents those cards. Took a few goes to get the hang of, but managed to get a few 12/12's!
I really like the effects around the cards and goofy professor :D I only got 10 at most
Maybe it would make the game too easy but I wished there were more tries lol or the ability to get more tries if you scored a certain amount (limited to one extra try) :D
I didn't think of that, but maybe something like "you are allowed to retry as long as your score improves" could have worked
Loved the look of it. I was only able to get 10, but I enjoyed clicking those cards.
