Neat puzzle game, I really like the concept. The different mechanics goes well together and the puzzles are not too difficult yet challenging. I liked the music. Congrats :)
Clever reinterpretation of a classic puzzle to fit the theme! Clean implementation with satisfying puzzle design! Nice work
Wow, this is an awesome game - this is one of my favorite games of the game jam! You did excellent level design, and I really appreciated unlimited undos 馃槄
Nice puzzle game. Good level design. I like the use of the Gorgon's turning you to stone as a game mechanic.
That was a great game! Very clever twist and I enjoyed playing it, spent a little too much time on it haha
I like that it's playable on mobile too, maybe when I have more time I'll do the other levels.
Great job!
AAAARRGHGH!?!?!?! WHAATT?!?! I've been playing this game for the last half an hour or 2 hours (I lost my sense of time) HOW, PLEASE TELL ME, HOW DO YOU EVEN DESIGN LEVELS LIKE THIS??? Please just tell me where to begin designing levels like this.
I could beat up to 1.4 and reached 1.5 to finally be able to give up omg.
Great game. Been so long, I played something like this.
But nevermind that. I just can't fathom how can someone design a level with practically only one solution in a variable system O.o If I were to try to make one I'm %95 sure that it will have many solutions. Do you create as many doubles as the level number (like, 1.4 has 4 duos of squares/gargoyles) then you just randomly make a solution (start from the end, from what player should achieve), and go backwards to beginning and put obstacles as you find other possibilities to solve... Idk what I'm even trying to say, I'm baffled O.o Does it have a method? How long does it take to design a level like those? Am I just too dumb and got excited because of some simple show of intelligence?
HELP!
I designed these levels incrementally. So, I started out with an idea in my head of how I want the player to solve a level and then just started building out from there. I then tried to add things to the level that make it harder to do another solution and I test to see if you can do it with another solution. This testing and building the level can honestly be quite time-consuming. For 1.5, I must've spent about 30+ minutes designing it.
Thank you so muchh! I was hoping for a less direct method, but at least now I don't have to wonder if there is a method or not :D
I'm really glad you enjoyed the game. I was really hoping to make some challenging levels for this game.
Fun and challenging, playing this game made me realize that I'm terrible at puzzle games
The idea is very creative and well done! it was amazing!! i really got hooked to the game!! keep up the good job!!! :D
Really well thought out mechanic. The turntables were a great addition to expand on it, would love to see what more you can add if you expand on it :)
And thank god you added an undo button! Loved that it had no limit
The game is really well put together! The concept totally fits the theme and I can definitly see its puzzle potential. It's great to see the extra care that went into supporting different platforms, and the audio really sets a great mood!
Sadly I'm not particularly smart or patient with these kinds of puzzle, so I could only complete the first two levels of each section, but I'm looking forward to try again later 馃槃
I have one small nitpick regarding the fullscreen version on Web, you can't open the pause menu without leaving fullscreen since it's mapped to Escape. Adding another key for pausing would be convenient! And a "reset level" button could be nice as well.
Great job!
The fullscreen thing was definitely an oversight on my part. I appreciate the feedback though, and I'll definitely add those suggestions if I update this game post-jam.
Realizing I could turn the gorgon's stone and then push them around freely without getting turned to stone myself was a really cool aha! moment. Nice work.
Cool puzzle game! Some levels were overwhelming, but they felt very good to solve. The mechanic was simple but lead to very complex and interesting levels. Great job!
