Game Description
In Unseen, you play as an unseen monster trying to escape a facility! Don't get caught! This is our first game jam. None of us have used Godot prior to this jam, so it was quite the crash course in learning on-the-fly!

How does your game tie into the theme?
The main character hides in the shadows, unseen. We tried to make the guards responsive to audio queues and external devies like cameras in order to do tracking.

Congrats on completing your first game jam! I enjoyed the look of the creature and environment. I was sad the audio didn't export correctly but that's something I'm sure you can fix for your next project. I couldn't get past the room in your final screenshot, but I'm terrible with the tank style controls. Nice job, and again congrats!

Ah, thanks for playing! Yeah, audio was a shame... It'll still work on the downloads for Windows/Linux, but I really think it was some export bug on Linux specifically. We didn't use anything particularly special for audio nor did we select anything other than defaults (at least, I didn't find a "Disable all audio for export" HTML5 option after taking a second look haha). At least the visual effects I tried to add for the audio make up slightly for it!

Fantasticgraphics and UI, i'm sorry fotr the audio. only the command to move is difficult. overall it's very good

Fairly good for a first game. The movement is a bit confusing at first, but once you realize it's tank controls it works nicely.

My only nitpick has to be the guard sprites. I mean, you could have reused the code for the monster's leg movement and made and evil spider robot with just a few sprites.

Awesome entry for a first project! The spider moment was really fluid, and I love how it was incorporated into the main menu screen.
This might just be a me issue, but I really struggled with the character movement :(

Thanks for playing! As for the controls, yeah, it's a little clunky. It's a "tank drive" where A and D are rotation rather than strafing.

We originally wanted to make some enemies hide when not in light at all, so slowly turning around was going to be a game mechanic (and I didn't want to limit to just mouse controls). We didn't get around to that so you end up with the odd controls and no game mechanics that use it, unfortunately.

I had a lot of fun making the main menu though! It was my attempt at incorporating the UI into the world.

i love the little monster, so simplistically well designed. the controls are a bit rough though and i wish there were at least some sound

It fits the theme well, it’s really good, and I like the art, I like it

OMGG, the graphics and walking mechanics were PERFECT! keep up the good work! :D

Nice game, I missed the audio but good art work.

Thanks! I'm not quite sure why the HTML5 export lost audio unfortunately. I might have misconfigured something on export (I did it from Linux) or just hit a bug and didn't have time to figure it out. But thanks for playing, we had fun making it!
