It's a bit cheesy, but a perfectly competent fantasy adventure. Funnily enough, my favorite part of this was the MC. He's a bit hardheaded despite being a cleric, but I always like MCs that can stand up for themselves. He's especially helpful during fights too. With a MC this confident and capable (a rarity for FVNs!), it makes it easy to root for his personal growth on this story. The writing could be better though, to be honest. There were several flaws that immediately stood out to me, such as odd tenses and unnatural dialogue. The characters also have the tendency to explain themselves a bit bluntly, leading to a "tell, not show" problem that doesn't build up enough intrigue or suspense. Still, mainly thanks to the detailed backgrounds and likeable sprites, this VN stands out as an in-depth fantasy tale with enough thought put into its worldbuilding. It's easy to get absorbed into the story from start to finish. Not bad at all, honestly. It's also a novel take on the jam's theme, since Luthyr himself is the light in the dark, not the other characters. Once again, the MC stands out, which might not necessarily be a good thing, as I think all of the wolves failed to make much of an impression. They don't really stand out much from each other, and they end up feeling like one homogenous pack instead of four unique voices. The horny scenes felt a bit out of place and unearned as a result. Still a decent showing all around, though.
