nicely done, controls feel very smooth and responsive... honestly another banger of a platformer.
spookyman is synonymous with platformers at this point.
The frog's movement might be a strong contender for "World's Wackiest Movement Award". I love the grapple mechanics, as each orb feels like they serve a good purpose in the gameplay loop, remove one and the game just isn't the same. And the level looping back in on itself is GENIUS! It toke me 245~ seconds to beat the game. A fantastic submission!
Your game is beautiful, congratulations!
This was really fun!!
The controls and the function of the orbs was a bit hard to understand at first as I was focusing more on the game rather than the text that appeared at the top. And it would vanish before I got to read it full
Tho i did notice that the text came based on if you were near the area of the introduction of that orb. So that was a better yes, but still would be better if the mechanics were explained separately in maybe a small tutorial? or maybe the text could appear around the orbs when they are introduces for the first time so nobody misses it
Also the fact that the orbs collision for mouse input detection felt just a bit small (maybe a tiny increase in area would help!)
Lmao you can even see my progression arc in the game , the first attempt took by far the longest as it was kinda hard to grasp the controls and stuff due to the stuff I mentioned earlier
But iIl still say the largest factor was that upside down button press and go to the door part.. I HATE IT WITH PASSION 馃槶, Id get stuck in the hole right before the door while the frog just bounces back instead of jumping out. You had to have had a hate boner for us to add that there xD
Other than that, I LOVED the visuals and the music! That artstyle is CLEAN!
The game was really well made, with alot of animations and pleasing to look at art! The game also felt really polished and was jam packed with mechanics!
Still sad that you didnt add that dragon boss at the end xD
lol yea that part, anyways you BEAT TEST_2??? wow great job!! ill play your game in a bit thanks for the feedback!
YESS I BEAT TEST_2
I cant hope to beat you tho xD
You finished in half my pb lmao
Loved the art style and sound design! Great game.
The game is, but wasn麓t so fast paced for me, I suggest adding a Homing attack Sonic style, the mouse just need to be near to aim automatically. Nice music and graphics, very well polished, great job!
yea but i think that would intrude on the more complex grapple configurations, also just lowering the skill ceiling overall, i dont really agree on that,
Jump is easy just hit the balls was kinda hard. Doesn need to be a homing far, can be a little nearby that will work too
alright...ill try out some stuff. did you beat the game? :3
I am on a play test rush, i ll play again later馃敟
FINISHED NOW馃敟

GOOD GRAPHICS
Great game, the art is incredible, also I like the arcade-like music. Controls are fluid! really great job!
Very polished game, takes some getting used to but very fun!
Very nice art and music
Yeah okay somebody cooked in the last 48 hours! That game is basically steam ready! Keep up the work! 10/10 review from me :)
i get that the point is to be fast paced, but i feel like there's a lot of mechanics thrown in at once before i can get the handle on the previous one, which very well could be a me skill issue
i see this being very fun once you get the hang of everything, nice work :]
