How does your game fit the theme?
The game is relevant to the theme in that our parasite, which the player controls, has a health bar that constantly decreases, and in order to replenish it, you must destroy all the enemies in body and collect their DNA, as they are a resource that prevents you from dying

Anything else you'd like to share about your game or development process?
Unfortunately, we didn't have enough time to complete the entire game as planned, but we managed to finish what we could. The development of a 2D game in 3D space was very interesting and exciting, but we may have overestimated our capabilities. However, we gained invaluable experience, and we plan to finish and release the final version of the game after the jam

You did a great job with the artstyle and loved the mixture of 2D and 3D. About gameplay it was pretty fun and enaging colleting DNA from enemies. Overall its a pretty fun game with a unique concept. Good job!

This is a really good concept for a game that you collect DNA to grow and powerup. The artstyle is amazing - the main player character and its animations of boxing were superb. The map and enemy design was also really cool, fit the vibe of the game! There are a few suggestions i have to improve upon the gameplay - The boxing currently happens in 2D, so if the enemy is 'in front of' or 'behind' me, there is nothing I could do to hit it, so i had to align myself along the z axis to hit. I think if you can do something where you maintain the '2.5D' kind of feel (which i really like btw) but also address this issue, it will really help to make the combat a lot more fun! A little bit of variety in the enemies will also be interesting so that the player can really think about which upgrade to take when. Good job overall and hope you turn this into a full fledged game some day!

I think the thumbnail for this game is my favorite in the entire game jam. The game play was funny and pretty easy to understand. I appreciated some of the talking points in your game devlog such as team communication and the inevitable burnout for a jam that last longer than a few days.

This is a pretty fun game! A lots of work seems to have gone in the visuals.

I loved the concept of having 2D graphics while the game is 3D. It reminds me of Delver.

I had difficulty understanding the upgrade system but I anyway managed to pick random stuff. Lol.

I hope this gets made into a full game.

Gameplay:
I loved it—very well thought out! It's such a creative idea to have a gameplay mechanic based around running across human organs. It's something I never imagined I’d play, and I found it super interesting! However, I did run into a bug where I could climb the walls, and the enemies couldn’t reach or bother me. Maybe in the future, consider adding language options—I wasn’t able to understand the texts when trying to upgrade skills.

Visuals:
FANTASTIC. The visuals are amazing, and the 2.5D style fits perfectly! Truly stunning work—I actually got addicted to it because of how great it looks.

Sound:
This is a tough one. I’m not sure what the ideal sound design would be in this case, but I felt that the current soundtrack didn’t quite match the tone of the game. Even though it's meant for a fast-paced experience, I think something more ambient and dramatic—or even having no music at all, just the sounds of organs working (like a heartbeat, stomach rumbling, etc.)—would make more sense and enhance the immersion.

Overall:
Great game—I managed to finish it and really enjoyed myself. Congratulations on the achievement! Your game is AWESOME.

Props to you guys for going with a 2.5D style — that’s no small feat. But I didn’t really get the point of the game. It feels like we’re just running through the level like some kind of parasite, maybe fighting enemies along the way. I even got all the upgrades early on, but they didn’t seem to make much difference. The creepy face at the end though — yikes.

I love the Parasite. He's really cool. The 2.5D perspective is really unique for a game jam which I like! Overall very fun game!

it felt a bit incomplete, and the upgrades are not in english. The graphics are great tho, the 3D environment with 2D sprites was really nice and Id love to see some more complex level designs in that style. Im sure this can be a great game if you keep working on it
