if it wasnt for the bugs, the unpolished gameplay and art... i would give this a 10/10
Congrats on completing your first game jam!!! Something to be proud of :) The frog sprite is really cute and I thought the bounciness of the music fit the game really well. The frogs on the side bobbing their heads was a nice touch too lol. I think adding some obstacles for the player such as lily pads that dump the player into the water if they move too slowly would be a nice addition. Keep it up!!
Excluding the bugs it's kinda cute
Looks like you ran at the same problems as me where the concept is nice, but there was no time to flesh it out or polish it. In your case in particular, it is hard to determine what is a valid jump and what isn't, that makes the frog take one step at a time at the lily pad it is already in, when you are clicking a completely different lilypad.
Nail on the head there. I only had Saturday afternoon to work on this, and had to scrap my "real" concept. Thanks for checking it out and giving feedback!
Cute game...encountered a few bugs but it's still nice..
pretty good
the jumps are a bit buggy, but it's charming, nice work:]
Nice, but too short. I think you had enough time to build more levels. I just figured out how to play and the game is already over
NICEEEE ENTRY
got some bugs
But it cool
Nice one, the controls are kinda buggy
I'm not sure I was using the controls correctly. Cool concept.
2 things:
Thanks for checking it out! I've posted an updated version with control/purpose explanations. Unfortunately don't have time during the jam to address resizing but that's something I'm planning to learn !
