Fast-paced and addictively chaotic!
The mechanic where enemies become your upgrades keeps each run fresh and exciting.
I loved experimenting with different weapon combos and abilities as I progressed.
The constant evolution really makes you feel powerful — a great twist on resource use
Pretty fun game! Loved the shooting mechanic and the bullet effect looks great! Really polished and well implemented.
The game is well designed but there is one problem i found in terms of design is the player movement is too much that just with the base movement you can avoid enemies so this makes the dash mechanic irrelevent. So the movement speed should either equal to enemy movement or only slightly faster so that dashing would work as an important mechanic.
Other than that really fun and polished game! Good job!!
Fun wave-based mechanic game.
I wasn’t quite sure which upgrades to pick or which ones were better or stronger than others. Maybe adding some stats would help—like showing if something gives more armor, speed, or better/faster firepower, etc.
Visually it looked fine, audio also OK, and overall a solid jam entry.
Keep it up! đź’Ş
Awesome game, very addictive and fun! I played for quite a while and there is a lot of variety in the weapons, crafting and enemies also. The controls felt very smooth and i liked the fast pacing of the game and the quick levels. The crafting was also done really well and gave a nice dimension to the gameplay! A few minor gripes i have - i think the dash was a bit underutilized (atleast when i was playing it) since the basic movement speed itself was so fast. It didnt take away from the experience and the animation was actually very nicely done, but just that i couldnt find many uses for it. Another was that the weapons which were crafted - it would have been great to see what the power was to know that you were actually building better and better weapons. Or even a level next to it. Other than that it was a very nice experience, well done!
I enjoyed this top-down shooter. While it's quite repetitive, overall a cool experience with a variety of enemies. The music and sound effects were nice. I wish the powerups were slightly different coloured than enemies. And sometimes the enemies shot from out of my camera view which was annoying. Lol.
awasome
I enjoyed how the title was designed, and I enjoyed it to be shooter gameplay!
What stands out to me was obviously the music was so well produced. However, I wish the gun sound would be more SciFi than a normal reverb one.
The movement were not that smooth but for one person, as a whole it's a good concept.
I enjoyed the game a lot but i didnt seem to find a way to understand what the upgrades do so i picked them randomly, also i think the game was too easy and the waves would've been more fun if you added more enemies, maybe after the first batch is killed
I was supposed to play this game for a few minutes, but the gameplay got my attention, I spent more than i should playing this game, awesome job ! I feel you could implement new sprites and animations in the future! I would 100% buy this game.
This made my day !! I'm really happy the gameplay pulled you in like that. I’ve got plans to polish up the visuals and add more animations and sprite variety, so it's awesome to hear that’s something you'd be excited about too.
Hearing you'd buy the game is the highest compliment. Thank you so much
good game. I do love this kind of arena where we battle waves of enemies. The items used for crafting was pretty nice, and it has a nice variety of enemies. A few notes would be adding some status indication on what the equipment we buy does, and also maybe improving the aiming when we keep running and stuff, as some enemy bullets are too fast and require constant movement
Thanks for the review. Appreciate it a lot
I like these kinds of games, and I was drawn into this one, but I didn't find much variety in the form of weapon effects. The enemies are made in an interesting way, the style is also very good. Perhaps the movements also seemed too abrupt, but this, of course, is different for everyone.
Thanks again for taking the time to share your thoughts. Like others said a description for each would have helped a lot. Also for the effects there is a bug with the freeze bullets , they should have stunedthe enemies for a few seconds , but i could not make it work at the last minute. Again thanks for the review
The gameplay is rather leisurely and feels generic overall, despite the upgrade concept. The upgrades and the enemies bring variety though (especially the enemies)!
The visual style is solid and fits well with the mechanical theme, but offers few visual highlights.
The sound is functional, but some more sound would have been great!
The “Enemies are resources” theme is well implemented and runs nicely through the entire game concept!
A solid game that just needs a bit more polish :) Great job!
Thank you for the detailed feedback it really means a lot. I'm glad the core idea and enemy variety stood out to you, and I definitely agree there's room for more polish, but the time was tight. Really appreciate you taking the time to play and reflect on it
Pretty good game! One thing I had trouble with though was telling which armor or weapon was better to craft since it doesn't give any sort of indication of stats and stuff.
Thank you so much Layne299 for playing and taking the time to share your thoughts.. You are absolutely right I should have added that in the game . I think I should have given it to my frds to playtest the game. A little playtest would have helped . I will playtest more from my next time .Thanks again for playing
