This is such a creative and funny idea! Had a blast playing it. and loved the concept! You did great!

I like the idea of the game and the art style is very original is a pity you couldn't finish the final scene

I couldn’t help but smile as soon as I started playing this game. It reminded me of the web games I played when I was a kid. While it may not have outstanding art or an entirely original gameplay style, there’s something about these kinds of games that always draws you in. Great work!

It was a funny and cute game, liked the art style and as a french person it made me cackel even more x). The character is a bit slow but it's mostly fine. An other problem for me is the sfx maybe turn the footstep a little lower and maybe try changing the pitch a bit every time (it is easy to do in godot).

Nice work  for a first game hope you will dfinish it and do other games !

probably one of my top picks for this jam! The graphics tied into the funny moments and really added to the experience. Awesome job!

That was hilarious! I love the comedy of this game. It's a shame that it isn't entirely finished, but I loved what's here. And the hand-drawn illustrations adds charm to it. Good job!

Nice little game — solid idea, and it works well, especially considering you were picking up Godot during the jam.

Funny story and cute art!

Made me wish I had the same machine in my kitchen...

Same. I just have a regular refrigerator and the only magic power it has is that the milk jug is always empty.

Nice idea and gameplay

Such a hilarious game! I really enjoyed the writing. I was looking forward to visiting 70s so hopefully you and your family will be able to finish it one day.

My only niggle is the window scaling might be off hence why the actual game doesn't expand to fit the full game window. In Godot, you can set that in the project settings. Oh, and the magic freezer dial also needs a hint for the control; I thought I needed to click but it turned out I had to click left and right.

Thank you again for building and sharing the game. We need more lighthearted games in this day and age.

Thank you for your comment. We have been talking about taking a fresh start on this project with a view to making a finished "product". Not that we're hoping to sell it, but I think there's enough here that it deserves to be completed.

As a learning project, it was a solid choice. We now know enough to know what we don't know!

This was such a fun game to play! The humor was awesome (cream fraiche, the hilarious sphinx dialogue, the crazy demanding chef, the name of the game, etc.) and it all made me laugh a lot. The art style also adds a real charming aspect to the game, the dinosaur design was cute looking and the close ups of the chef and sphinx during dialogue were fun. I would love to see how this game ends, the description of the final level sounds like a lot of fun! Great work, this is something to be proud of making! :)

Well, this is the game of all the ones ive played so far with the most soul. i LOVED it.

the writing here is incredible. it was just great. I loved it.

the art was pretty good! nothing comercially viable, but definitely reminicient of old flash games. I have a soft spot for the style.

The game design was simple but solid. Everything worked, though there was a bit of a lack of mechanical depth. i dont care though because the writing totally carried it.

Thanks so much for playing! Writing is an essential part of my day job so I'm gushing with pride to hear you liked it.

This was a learning project and we learned a lot. Now we're thinking about what our next jam will be.

may I recommend either the pirate software jam or shovel jam. both are quite soon.
