I really enjoyed my time with this game! The art is so pretty and vibrant, and I really love the swimming mechanic, it feels like you are swimming. And the shaders also provide that in sea feel. I also love that we can basically "paint" vegetation similar to the game engine terrain tools. The music and laughing sfx when you get the hearts are well incorporated to the whole feel of the game. I truly loved it, I wish I played it earlier before the end of the jam. But regardless I wanted to leave a comment to say that your game is beautiful! :)

I should have left a comment as well. Your game was also very beautiful! I only played it after the jam but I loved the atmosphere and the idea of being as a little spirit. The particles, art and sounds were all amazing. The particles and sounds of collecting a new color were perfect.
I got a bit stuck at one point because I didn't realize I could open the door next to the cat in the box, but I figured it out somehow (don't remember how).
Very nice art as well! I think I read somewhere that you are a programmer working in Unity and learning Unreal, but the art was really nice and fit very well!
Would you be interested in maybe trying some collaboration in the future? (or just talk on discord or something - doesn't necessary have to be collaboration). Although I guess we both have a programming background and I switched from Unity to Godot a year and a half ago (not Unreal), so our tools are a bit different. I also tend to work with 3D art but only because I am a lot better at that. But I am not sure if that should stop us? I feel we might have overlap in the games we want to make? Just let me know and I'll send an email.

Beautiful environment, great character art, extremely polished game. Great little vignettes of stories that really exemplify the theme as well. There are tons of little interactions and fantastic animations that make this game feel remarkably complete for a jam game. Excellent job!

Dialog in loading screen was a nice touch. The character controller felt really smooth, I enjoyed the giggle when picking up hearts. As well as the interactions when swimming through seagrass/plants. Then discovering I could plant the plants was so cool!
Also omg Ash...they are to cool for me to talk to too...
The dialog was good and puns were in just the right places.
Music helped blend everything together.
I finished the game and enjoyed every bit of it. Thanks for creating this!
Society is in desperate need of more mermaid games, and your team delivered! This is one of my favorite submissions in the jam! I love design of all the characters, and the 3D art and animations are so well done! The interactions were all so pleasant, and I really enjoyed planting sea plants all around the map. If this was a fully published game, I would 100% buy it. I hope you keep working on it, but if not, this was still a fun experience. Wonderful work, kudos to your team!

This was a fun game! Loved all the characters and going around planting random sea flowers was fun. The dialogue was quite fintastic as well.

I absolute love the animations and shader for the main character. Great art direction and gameplay! I felt like the game makes it fun to just help out other characters without expecting anything in return. Also the music was very fitting and relaxing. Wonderful project!
