hello. how do i convert my companions. do i need to wait till evil mode and have them as my companion when I turn?
Yes, you need to trigger evil mode by fully transforming, and then visit them in evil mode
so i shouldn't have them traveling with my companion when I turn or does it matter at all?
It won't matter much, mainly it'll just change some of the dialogue. Even if you go "feral" with them alongside you, they won't be killed in a cutscene or anything like that.
