Nice one.
At first, I wasn't sure when the green plant would be useful for since it was only 3 blocks wide.
But when you get to the first chasm, that clicked right away.
Have you tried "Starseed Pilgrim"? Your game made me remember of that game.
If you want to continue with that idea, I would suggest taking a look as they managed to add some real-time threat and weirder objectives to a "gardener platformer".
I think the mouse control is fine in your game, I think you might just have missed the time to add it to the game starting screen, so people miss it the first time around.
Have a great day :D
Thank you for the advice! Ill be sure to check that game out! :)
Really fun idea! be really fun to see it expanded into a larger puzzle/platformer game with more plants :)
Thank you!
The art and sound work nicely. Once you understande what to do it's a clever concept. I would appreciate it if selecting which plant to use was more clear. Maybe with dedicated controls like someone else suggested.
oh for sure! I might revisit this to rework that system to be more intuitive!
So good and solo too! Really fun idea.
Level design is hard but you made it work really well.
Thank you! I was definitely locked in way to hard XD
Funny game :) A selector with direction for the plant would cherry on the top (Maybe a bind 2 key, one for each plant) :p
Oh absolutely! I had planned on when you pickup a seed that it would give you the description but ran out of time for that part and the click to select was a bad decision lol!
This was fun, great job!
Thanks!
Wow, so simple but so good!
Thanks! It turned out different from my plans but there is only so much you can do in 3 hours LOL
